"Please stay..."
Green scales shimmered in the golden light as she rolled onto her side, waking from a dream not worth remembering. Her eyes were barely open but they could still make out the bright blue sky above her. Where did her wings take her this time?
Eyes blinked away the sleep as she woke all of her limbs. Everything was so very bright and quiet frankly; hot. Even with the wind blowing around her body she felt like she was frying. Peering upward she shook her head, squinting before too long due to the light.
"Where am I?" the sage colored dragon questioned to herself. Her body felt so high, and yet, she was most certain she was on the ground.
Lifting herself to a seated position she sat and stared, not only had she not remembered how she got here, but here was up... very, very up. Her heart beat faster at the thought of being so very high and before long she found herself back in a curled up position in the middle of the tall mountain top overlooking the canyon.
This most certainly can not be happening...
