"Yeah... I'm fine alright.... really..."

Sighs and takes another sip from his soda and stands up with his tray. Carrying his tray over her tossed the leftovers into the trash.

((Okay, time to get the baddie in place.))
Daria watched him go a little sadly. He didnt' seem to be hapy here, and that worried her. Unhapy people did many things that weren't very good for themselves, and sometimes even people around them.
As she finished off her sandwish, the pain in her arm returned. Followed by a pain in her head and a feeling of nausea. Guessing that the pain had caused the feeling in her stomach, Daria reached in her pocket, pulling out her small bottle of pills.
Taking one, she waited for the pain to abate. It did so quickly, less than 15 minutes.
After 20 minutes though, the nausea was back, this time much stronger than before.
Daria managed to make it to a bathroom before retching..but she didn't make it to the infirmary, collapsing right outside the door.
***
She had overdosed on the pain medication it seemed...and Ms. Orora wasn't about to let her out of the infirmary. It seemed she was stuck there.

Myrrha looked at the computer screen before her...delighted. Her drone was working wonderfully...staying clear of security sensors, it kept her far enough away that "Professor" Xavier didn't sense anything wrong. She'd been picked up for vandalism a few weeks before...not that she was actualy to blame. She stole, she didnt' vandalize. Anyway, she would've gotten outof the holding cell she'd been keept in had Xavier not shown up. At the time, the free ride out of there seemed like a good idea...until the old fart started running around in her head. That's when she'd skipped town, somehow "running into" Magneto. He'd contracted her services..though at first she hadn't understood. She was to scope out the place, report back to him, and set off illusions that would keep any promblem-solvers busy until the attack could be launched. Easy enough, right? Which made Myrrha wondered why Magneto needed her help. Didnt' matter right now, right now was just having fun. But later, it might matter...she needed to keep that in mind.
Myrrha concentrated again on teh screen. She was looking for any sign of dissidents in mutant "paradise". If she could find a few rebels, this whole operation could go seriously smoother.

Tren leand back on the grassy hill as he watched the clouds overhead pass gently along their way. He headed up there after Daria had left after takeing a pill or two. Sighing he sat up and looked off into the distance. The school was a good mile or two away and he knew if he didn't start back now that he'd probly miss his session with the professor. Shrugging he lay back on the grass again and continued watching the clouds overhead. If he wanted to he could probly spend the night out here as well, the sky was clear and the weather was warm and comfortable.

Zach had spent more time than he ever had in his room. He was sitting on the carpet, legs crossed, focusing on the orange on the floor.
Every so often, Zach would close his eyes, take a deep breath and hold it for as long as he could, open his eyes and inspect the orange once more.
He looked over the orange, formed a pencil and note pad out of thin air and write down what was different about the fruit.
So far, Zach had noticed that after about a minute of holding his breath, he forgot about what the orange looked like because he had to concentrate on over-riding his body's natural want of breath.
The interesting point was that after forgetting exact specifics about the orange, features of it changed. It lost it's distinct features and became what any one would off hand recognize as an orange, but after a second glance, seemed completely foreign in every form.
Once more, Zach took up a meditative posture, but this time focused on constant, rhythmic breathing. After several minutes, he was taking long, deep breaths without thinking on it. Then he closed his eyes and concentrated on the exact details of the orange. Each dimple and pore, the semi-waxy skin, the way light interacted with it.
He opened his eyes and saw the perfect orange that he always created.
"Interesting." Zach said quietly to himself, inspecting the perfect orange before dismissing it into a puddle of rainbow colored liquid.
He stowed his notes in his desk and was about to leave before he glanced back down at the splash of color left by his experiments. It was visibly evaporating into a swirl of mist which began to dissipate into the air.
It smelled like candy.
He reached down, touched the pool and licked the stuff off of his pinky.
It tasted like candy.
He blinked several times and the splash was gone. He never particularly cared for the tuti-fruity flavor but that was always the first thing to come to mind when he thought of hard candy. Those stupid little sticks of candy they sold next to the rock candy at the museum souvenir shop. He liked the fruit punch and watermelon ones a lot, but the first one he thought of was the sickeningly sweet blend of Juicy Fruit and Cotton Candy.
Was it possible that his subconscious was influencing his abilities?
It was that thought, not that he might be able to produce enough energy to create matter with his mind and will, but that he did not have full control of that energy. That is what began to scare Zach.
That image of a mushroom cloud came to mind and Zach quickly started thinking about girls before something in his room might have exploded.

Myrrha's tiny drone moved from shadow to shadow...broadcasting images from it's optics to Myrrha's computer. She was lucky that she'd finally got the stupid thing to work as she wanted. Now that she was finished though, and had seen the drone in action, she was very pleased after all. The quality of the picture the drone broadcasted was pretty high considering...the movement was all radio controlled and very easy. It used one of her special hover-plates to move along the ground...but it could rise to a full four feet or so above the grass.
"Where would rebellious students hang out?" Myrrha whispered to herself, moving the drone closer to the main building. Where had she hung out when she'd been at the manor? She hadn't really been there long enough to "hang out"...but when she had been moody, her room had been quite the sanctuary. Finding an open window on a lower floor, Myrrha guided her drone inside. It was covered with iny camera's that could both receive and project. Not only would it transmit a live feed to her computer, but the camera's also worked to camaflouge the 3 inch long - 1 inch thick, oval drone. The camera's convered the entire drone but the bottom where the hoverplate was.
Going up the stairs was an interesting experience, espcially until Myrrha finally got the hang of it. Finally reaching the dorm level, Myrrha picked a random room and slid in underneath the door.

((It can be if you wish it to be so. I'm just trying to establish Myrrha...but if her drone happens to encounter someone, it wouldn't hurt.))

((I'll just post again, see if I can bring this thing back to life...if I can't, off to the archives it will go!))
Myrrha watched the screen in front of her as her drone "examined" a room's interior.
What she saw was a boy -she couldn't tell his age- sitting in a meditative position.
Not good....usually telepaths chose meditation to focus their energies.
Myrrha changed the view on her drone so that she could see if it were possible to get back out the window.
It would be difficult to do without alerting a telepath.
So she just set the drone into a shadow where it wouldn't be seen, and just let it lay there.
However, if this kid was a telepath...he certainly didn't seem to notice the intrusion...hmmm.
She watched him move around, and look like he was getting ready to leave. She examined the floor where he'd been sitting.
A puddle on the floor was beginning to evaporate.
He reached down, stuck his little finger in it, and then in his mouth.
She grimaced in disgust.
"Gross!" She whispered to herself and to the computer screen in front of her. "Can't you even imagine what's on that floor?"
She changed the angle again, looking for the splash. It was gone.
Just then, the radio vibrated quietly against the side of her head. Myrrha set the drone down in a darkened corner before answering.
"Yes?"
"Report." The voice on the other end commanded.
Myrrha repressed a sigh. The radio was much like a cellphone in that there was no button to depress when you wanted to speak. Everything was heard. She was sighing for the simple fact that even as smart and useful as she was, it wasn't enough to talk directly to Magneto.
"Nothing to report yet." She responded.
"Nothing? You've been there an hour."
"It took a while to set up. But if you want to know, all I've found is a kid who eats a vanishing liquid that was on the floor."
An exasperated sigh was clearly heard at Myrrha's end. She'd known it was coming and smiled.
"Next report, one hour." The voice requested....at least, Myrrha thought it was a request. It sounded like a command.
"Of course." She replied, though it wasn't necessary. The radio had already clicked off.

Tren had been walking back through the halls of the mansion and he sighed, hands in his pockets, and leaned agenst a wall.

'now I'm bored to the point of my mind becomeing a dull worthless mass of grey matter.'

Sighing again he turned around another corner and was presented with an intresting sight. A small drone was hovering near the bottem of one of the studan's dorms and it seemed to be looking in on whoever was in there. Sneaking up to it he kneeled down and peered into, what he belived was, it's monitor.

"What... the.. hell..."

At that moment, Myrrha had a chance to look back at her screen. While she hadn't thought that she'd let the drone out from under the door, it had obviuosly caught someone's attention.
"Holy CRAP!" Mrryha panicked, her fingers flying across the keyboard before seizing ahold of the remote control and guided the drone AWAY.
It darted back into the room and under the closet inanimate object.
It was dark at least.

She paused the searching feature, rewinding on her screen to look at who exactly had found the drone.
Fortunately, there was no mic attached to this particular drone just yet, so there was no way that the observer couldnt' have heard her startled observation.
Thank all for the simple favors, neh?

The picture came up on the screen, a normal shot without the fish-eye bend of some lenses. He looked like a noraml sort of a kid.
And actually, she noticed as she backed up the image further...had looked very bored indeed before he'd located her drone.
He shouldn't have been able to since it had been shadowed, however, she'd forgotten to hit the camouflage button.
Not that it would've worked anyway. She still hadn't tweaked that program to perfection yet. For instance, the program refused to both record and camouflage at the same ime.

Now of course, Myrrha had to get out of the room.
What with the boy still in the room, and the one outside....she was pretty much toast unles she could escape...or cause the drone to self destruct...

That of course, wasn't exactly an option. Myrrha as very much attached to her drones, this one especially.
She should just have been thankful that the boy who'd been inside the room had his back turn her direction when she'd made for whatever she was hiding under.

Seeing the weird little object suddenly start and fly under the door to the room. Tren could only assume that he must have startled, or at least suprised, the little bugger. Walking to the wall oppisite of the door he proceeded to get comfortable and wait for the little thing to come out.... at least wait until he got board.
