The closest thing I have to an Oingo Boingo LP is the album for Beverly Hills Cop. Heheh. *whistles Axel's theme*

That's sweet! And quite a collection! I've only got the Gratitude single, Dark At The End of the Tunnel signed by most of the band (mot mine originally, unfortunately sad ), and The Box 'O Boi-Ngo set.
The only one I really play is the Gratitude single from time to time.

Or are there just random Boingo EPs and such lying around in stores in LA where you can just buy them like any other EP? Or did your really wicked awesome parents own them from the 80's and hand them down to you? Or ....were YOU around in the 80's to comandeer some yourself? sweatdrop

Unfortunately I am too young to have obtained them myself. I whore eBay and also knew a collector who was cleaning out her collection a LOT. Got a few really cool things from her! And probably "wasted" a lot of money! Though I don't think it's wasted if it's for Boingo!

If I had hundreds of dollars to drop, I would. whee
But, yeah, I got almost my entire Boingo CD collection off of ebay, except for.. two, off of Amazon, one from the library, one from my choir teacher, and two from random stores around town.
I have no records, but, I have seen them on ebay. If I ever saw one in the record shop, though, I would buy it without a second thought, most definately.

If I ever saw the original hand-painted LP it would *SO* be mind.. unless it was hundreds of dollars... Thinking back, I don't even know WHERE I got the money. I was almost always broke. Or maybe I was always broke from buying Boingo...! Hey, you know what they say, "Where there's Boingo, there's a way!" Or maybe that's just what I say... I've benefited greatly from the generosity of others. Also from the Boingo Graveyard (RIP) when it was still up and about. I miss that thing man... My first big Boingo Obsession was just in time to catch it before it's untimely demise.

Aww, I've heard lovely tales of the Boingo Graveyard. I completely missed it, unfortunately. sad
I.. have never heard that expression! I, however, will admit to yelling, "HEY! LEGGO MY BOINGO!" at the computer.
