One of my friends loves Twilight ;-;
She has half of the merchandise and has like, 3 copies of the Twilight DVD.
What should I do? I've known her for a year.

Ask her why she likes Twilfail Twilight
Then, make her see why her reasons are pointless, and convert her to anti-Twilight...
If that fails...
Ignore her if she talks about Twilight, but you can still be her friend.

try to gradually introduce her to books with things like plot and character development. Try getting her to read other vampire books- just don't be surprised when she whines the vampires are meany poo-poo heads and dont' sparkle.

lol, this is like an ask amy column.
just ignore it. people have their own opinions. don't do a s**t thing until you know for certain that she is convertible (e.g. starts saying things like "the writing isn't that good but...") basically anything with buts in it.

Unless she goes rabid on you, don't try to push her one way or the other. I know a friend who likes Twilight but her liking of it does not get in the way of anything. Antis and non-psychotic fans actually CAN co-exist peacefully.
But I would have to question why on Earth she has 3 copies of the same damn thing. That's stupid even if it ISN'T Twilight.
I love Lord of the Rings, but I'm not about to buy 3 copies of each movie.

Like others said, try to convert her, but I really doubt it will work.

well when ever she talks about Twilight just change the subject immediately. Why the hell does she have three copies of the same movie? Give her a book that is about vampires or anything, but Twilight. Give her a manga book called Vampire Knight or Vampire Game or both. These are about vampires, but they are really good. Also after she reads the manga of Vampire Knight or gets bored with it or she doesn't like reading manga than force her to watch the anime version of Vampire Knight.

Let her do what she will. Most likely she's gonna have to grow out of it herself. If you want to speed it up, however, as some other people said, show her some cool vampire stuff, as well as nice literature. For example, the anime Hellsing. The pure kickass-ness should turn her in the right direction.
