Just wondering how many of you have seen good Irish movies and/or movies about Ireland, and which ones among them are your favorites.

I personally like "Goldfish Memory"... An older one I like is "Angel/Danny Boy." "The Committments" is another good one...

I love irish movies, i've seen just a few of them, but the ones i like most are:
the boys and girl from co. clare
the secret of roan inish
the war of the buttons

I loved "The Devil's Own" with Harrison Ford and Brad Pitt.

i love it too, but i prefer "the wind that shakes the barley" by ken loach, it's fantastic, i cry everytime i see it. i don't know many irish actors, only colin farrell, he's good and very charming

ok, maybe not an actual Irish movie, but the Irish mob in Death to Smoochy were freakin' awesome. Tony rules!

some other american/irish film - Laws of Attraction, and pretty much any films that Pierce Brosnan produce.
