apologies (if required) for necro'ing this thread but I'm in sort of a dilemma right now.
first of all, I'm new to this guild and am delighted to see such a large standing community for Touhou. much like you all, I'm a fan of Touhou and have played and read a majority of Zun's games and print works.
anyway, a friend and I have recently started playing Hisoutensoku, and we like it very much. of the games we play, I'm the host since his connection is unable to do so for some reason. however, after recently acquiring a new router, the port forwarding is on the fritz and I am no longer unable to host matches.
so I'll just be blunt: I'd like to play Hisoutensoku but can neither host netplay or join that of my friend's. i now call out to a higher community so I have fun playing the game and improving my Yuyuko skills. anyone want to play?
and also, I'd rather not Hamachi. tried it with my friend and we weren't too satisfied with the lag. netplay is much more preferred.
