scream scream scream TROMBONES!!! scream scream scream although trombone is my main instrument, I want to learn the french horn (and the contrabass saxophone) but I have problems with valves and keys sweatdrop

toco clarinet candy!x0x0 I'm curious to how many people have actually heard a professional soloist horn player, or a professional soloist trombone player. Cause I think one of the main reasons why horn is loosing in this debate, is because the only horns people hear now a day are crappy middle school players. However if you compare both instruments played at a professional level, it might change some peoples opinions. i've heard both played at a professional level, and although horn does sound incredibly epic, especially with some nicely performed rips...i still think trombone wins it...but that might be because i like jazz...and jazz trombone is cool biggrin ...never heard a jazz french horn though o.O richard Todd. look him up

Paintbrushes and Oral Sex I play trombone and French horn. (Mellophone technically) Trombone is better. Period. well duh if you play mellophone! Mellophone is a piece of crap that should NOT be associated with the horn. If it was a mellophone v. trombone contest trombone would win hands down. However this is horn v. trombone
