I have a challenge for you all!
You must find one sport or activity you have never done before, or have rarely done, and do it once a week for a month.
It can be anything, horseback riding, yoga, kickboxing, tae chi... It can be as simple as trying a new yoga DVD once a week, or you can find a class or league in your area.
The goal is to break out of your 'normal' exercise routine, try something your body isn't used to (a helpful way of breaking plateaus!) and hopefully find new ways to enjoy exercising.
Post your sport or activity of choice, and write in every week and tell us all how it went.

For this month, the activity I have chosen is Kick Boxing.
I tried it for the first time this week, and it is an a** kick of a work out. I am sore all over, and sweated buckets!

I played handball (wallball (?) as one of my friends call it). Ran across the yard a lot then asked this person if I could ride his bike around. Was fun because I was with my friends.

I did ballroom dancing when I was a kid. It is so much fun. I got a dvd for it a while ago, but haven't really used it. I suppose I can shoot for once a week, hopefully doing it once a week will remind me how fun it is and I can start doing it a couple times a week.

This would be very difficult for me considering the amount of sports I do. swimming, biking, kayaking, skiing, walking/hiking... My elliptical is newish, I got it last year around this time I think. And cross country skiing is new as well. I do skijoring actually where my dog pulls me but he's only 40lbs so I still exert the same amount of energy I just go a bit faster.
Anywho, spring and fall are really slow for me. Like most summer is my most active time simply cause my job involves biking all day but winter I have classes. Although this winter I shouldn't have classes more than 4 days a week. So I would like to find something to do since biking is a bit difficult in this weather especially since its darj when I get home and skiing hasn't really started yet. Unless I wanna pay full price to ski on manmade snow. xp
But this is why I bought my elliptical. So my mission is to get back on it every day. Starting with just 10-15 minutes day. I can't this morning cause I have to leave in half an hour, but I'll try when I get home. xd
