I saw Motley Crue at a bikers convention in my town. We never see any action down here so when I heard about a concert that was only like... five minutes away, I was like, I'm there. It was my first live rock concert. I had to stand through a 17 song set by this cover band Geneva, and some other cover band. They played the basic rock ballads you'd expect at a MC concert. then Motley Crue played about a 6 to 7 song set. The finale was their awesome cover of Freebird that had on some tribute album I think. It was killer. And the best part was meeting the original lead guitarist that was in the bad when it was founded. He signed my shirt and everything. Yeah, I don't see myself going to any more concerts anytime soon. THe experience was killer, but some of it I could have lived without (such as the hundreds of drunken bikers breathing, sweating, and landin on me). sweatdrop It was great though. 3nodding
