Phoenix yelped a little at finding Lumina's forearm collided with her face. The way things were going, her chances of making a comeback in this match looked to be slim to none. Her chances began to wane even more when she found herself being overpowered and forced into a turnbuckle.

Lumina tries locking in a face lock so she could lift Phoenix up and sit her on the turnbuckle so she could go for a superplex attempt.

Phoenix was caught in the facelock and found herself being forced back into the turnbuckle. There had to be a way to fight back against this, if only she could figure out how.

With Phoenix up on the turnbuckle, Lumina begins climbing it so she could go for the superplex attempt.

Phoenixfire was being forced into the turnbuckle with what seemed like no hope of redeeming herself in the match-up. It was daunting to think that only moments earlier she had been on such a hot streak and had Lumina almost withing her grasp. But lo and behold, Phoenix thought she might be able to do something that could save herself from defeat. If she could, Phoenix would try to attempt a jab to Lumina's torso!

The jab catches Lumina off guard and she almost falls off the turnbuckle but manages to barely stay on the ropes.

Phoenixfire knew she had caught onto something when she jabbed at Lumina's torso. It was setting her off balance as Phoenix had hoped and maybe if she tried harder, she could send Lumina to the mat and have a greater chance at the pin. Phoenix hesitated a moment before attempting more jabs to Lumina's torso.

The repeated jabs forces Lumina off the turnbuckle and falling to the mat. Lumina holds herself up on her hands and knees with her blindside facing Phoenix.

Phoenix watched in amazement as Lumina fell back to the mat, ecstatic that now she had an opportunity for the win. Moments before, she wouldn't have been so lucky. Phoenixfire knew she would have a small window to work in to secure her ascent to the top in this match. She made great haste to stand on the top of the turnbuckle she'd been forced into only seconds earlier, ready to use one of the moves that made her who she was. Phoenix quickly glanced at the crowd that surround her before taking a leap from the turnbuckle, hoping to perform her finisher, the Phoenix Flight (Swanton Bomb).

Lumina could hear the crowd going crazy but had no idea why until it hit it, literally. Phoenix's finisher connects right on top of Lumina's back, crushing her to the mat and forcing the air out of her lungs. Lumina felt out of it as she laid flat on her stomach.

Here was Phoenixfire's chance for the victory, the one she had been working so hard for the whole match. After Phoenix had gotten up from the mat after executing her finisher, she tried to roll Lumina onto her back and would go for the pin.

Lumina is rolled over for the pin. Even though she was near the ropes, she didn't have enough energy to move any of her body parts towards them. Phoenix is able to get the 3 count. (Presumably that the guest ref is here to make the 3 count.)
