So, as many of you have surely not noticed, I've been gone for about a week, well I went on a trip. The trip took me down through Utah, into Nevada (Las Vegas), and into California ultimately ending up in Ventura, and then I returned using the same path.

Lets start with WHY I went.

Matisyahu has been an artist I've been following quite closely, when I found out that he was playing a show in Ventura (My future home) I decided I wasn't going to miss it.

From in the crowd.

First and foremost, it was an excellently epic show. Dub Trio was the warm up act, K'naan was the opening act and Matisyahu was the main show. Great show to groove to, ended up dancing with this lovely gal for the whole four and a half hours of music.

After the show, I crashed, and spent the next day with my aunt and uncle who live a block away from the Ventura beach, so I spent some time there before hitting the road again for the return trip on Saturday.

LAS VEGAS

Conveniently, there was another show in Vegas the day I would be arriving there, so I went to the House of Blues and got into another Matisyahu show (this time stood against the front).

Snuck my camera out without Security noticing.

Afterwards, I crashed, but Sunday I spent the day in search of the Vegas-Experience. I stayed at The Luxor (which has a fantastic Titanic exhibit if you people are looking to seeing a hunk of the hull).

On the Old Strip, I came across this fantastic Irish Pub (Hennessey's) which has a "Mega pint" which is a glass that holds 64oz of beer.

I got to keep the glass, what was not photographed is the fact that I drank two more (normal) pints after this. Next time around my goal is to kill two of those.

I'll just leave this here...

In case if the less-than-observant hasn't noticed the bandage on my arm...

Yes, I got a tattoo in Las Vegas.

I was originally wanting to get my picture taken with a couple of Chipendale Dancers, but unfortunately they wanted you to pay to get a photo taken... So I settled for these two ladies... I'm guarding myself from possible crabs.

There are more photos, but I'm not going to post a lot of them, many are of me being rather foolish (like the teaser above), some are just rubbish, and a couple of them include the lass I danced with during the show in Ventura that I would prefer to keep privet (they aren't dirty, I just don't think she'd appreciate me posting them).

Lovely trip overall, I can't wait to go back to Las Vegas, and I can't wait to move to Ventura.

You know, I haven't heard much about Matisyahu since Baggy introduced me a few years ago. I should download some more =o

Lovely images. Lovely Tat. Lovely BEARD. (Srsly, my sideburn hairs have yet to connect to the hair on my chin and my goatee is only just starting to show. I envy all of you fully grown basterds.)

And I heard about that show with K'naan opening. I hope they come around NY soon.
