This is a difficult comparison to make.
They play totaly different genres of music.
I would say that, skill-wise, Skillet is better.
But You don't see them coming out with hits like American idiot and whatnot. I'm not saying Skillet doesn't make good music, I'm just saying that Green Day is more pop and is more popular.
I like 'em both. ^^
