Another day with nothing to do. She missed the days when she could do things that made her blood rush. Made her adrenaline pump. Someday it could very well get her into trouble. But she really did not care. Not like there was anything or anybody exciting around these big lonely lands. Each day she just walked around, hunted, and slept. Maybe a swim to cool off, but it was rather dull.
With a sigh she padded toward a river to get a drink, deciding to try getting a tan on this sunny day. It was better than nothing she figured as she dipped her head to get a drink.

Darryl didn't mind this place. Not like the others did, anyways. It seemed a bit more... well, he couldn't really put his finger(paw?) on it, but he could see himself staying here for a long while.
The lion stood beside the river, gazing over his surroundings with a gleam in his green and black eyes. The lioness fell into his sight and he arched a brow.
Plus, there was so many things he could play with. And he didn't get scolded nearly as much as he did back home.
"Well hello there."
Yeah. He could get used to this.

Upon hearing the voice, Tara looked up. The moment she saw him, she felt a strange energy eminating from him. He looked dangerous...exciting...a big difference from this boring place.
"Hello to yourself."
A grin formed on her maw as she looked him over. "I'm Tara. Who might you be? And would you happen to enjoy...danger?" She begged and pleaded in her mind that he did. If not...well she'd just be bored for the rest of her days.

"Danger?" Darryl gave a light laugh. The sun through the trees made his piercings sparkle. "Please, my dear, I live for danger. I mean, I'd go as far as to say I am danger." His eyes gave a little glimmer and he leaned a little close to her. His teeth snapped.
"Well, Tara. If you're in the mood for a little danger. For a little rush, it seems like you're in the right place." He stayed close for a few moments before moving away. "You can call me Darryl." He looked her over, considering. "And what might you be doing all the way out here in the middle of nowhere, Tara?" The way he said her name made it sound like venom, like a poison falling from his mouth.

The way he spoke caused a chill to run up her spine. He truly was danger. It showed in the way his piercings sparkled, and how he snapped his teeth inches from her face.
"I'm in the mood to feel adrenaline fill my veins." Her eyes seemed to shine from the excitement she felt. Him simply standing there was feeding her need to be reckless, to move. "I'm looking for fun. But this place is so boring. Nobody does anything exciting around here."

"Well, that's just perfect, aint it~?" Darryl gave a dark chuckle, flicking his bangs out of his face, crossing his paws and wrapping his single-bladed tail behind his back legs. "Why don't we get you out of this place then, hm?" He motioned over his shoulder with his head.
"I know of lots places other than here. Wanna live on the edge? Want some adrenaline in your veins? Then come with me." His eyes darkened. "Though I suppose I'm obligated to warn you at least a little. All toxins are addictive. Adrenaline's just one of those ones."

Not being a lioness that was afraid of much anything, she grinned a bit and padded after him. "I'd gladly go somewhere other than here..."
Her brow arched at the poison remark. "Toxins may be addictive, but not everybody gets consumed by them. I can handle anything you or this new place can throw at me. Without fear."
He would not scare her. Her heartbeat was already growing faster.
