I know there's something in the wake of your smile I get a notion from the look in your eyes, yeah you've built a love but that love falls apart your little piece of heaven turns too dark
listen to your heart when he's calling for you listen to your heart there's nothing else you can do I don't know where you're going and I don't know why but listen to your heart before you tell him goodbye
sometimes you wonder if this fight is worthwhile the precious moments are all lost in the tide, yeah they're swept away and nothing is what is seems the feeling of belonging to your dreams
listen to your heart when he's calling for you listen to your heart there's nothing else you can do I don't know where you're going and I don't know why but listen to your heart before you tell him goodbye

Jamshad was currently laying silently on a large smooth rock, his eyes closed. At the moment, he was in a sort of meditative state, relaxing his mind and body. Often he was found like this, though it was easy to snap back should danger approach. He was a calm lion that felt happy to help others should they ask.
The spot he had chosen was peaceful indeed. Trees surrounded the area he was in, with a stream flowing gently nearby. The sound of it only caused him more relaxation.

Quietly Tahki paced beside the stream. She had followed it down the mountain and through the forest, bringing her to a thinner part of the trees. Her mind wasn't focused on anything, but she wasn't wandering mindlessly. She was going where her feet where taking her. She was a wandering spirit in a lion's body. But even a wandering spirit had a purpose, she just hadn't found hers yet.
This was way she was following the stream, she was hoping it would bring her a purpose. Although when she started at the top, the stream was a think, swollen river and now it a thin, barely pulsing. It made her think, was she losing her chances? Was she down to the final thread?

Many thoughts passed through his mind as he lay perched atop his rock. Even as a cub he was the first to take a step back and look at the big picture. Once he grew to a teenager, he left his Pride. Nobody there thought like him, save his grandfather. He spent most of his life with that grand old lion. But when he died while Jamshad was an adolecent he'd up and left.
His ears twitched as the silence around him broke. Somebody was approaching him. With a slight sigh he opened his eyes half way, though he stayed in a slight laying position. This presence did not feel threatening in the least.
"Greetings wanderer."

Tahki's thoughts had run away from her. It wasn't often she got lost in thought, but it was the voice that brought her out of her trance, he head snapping up and her foot high, about to take a step. She froze. Her eyes narrowed as she saw the male but upon further investigation she took in his relaxed position and the calm demenor of his greeting.
"Greetings." She said softly, her foot coming back down to the ground beside the other, she was no longer moving forward. Her tail swayed behind her a couple times before holding still itself. "I apologize for the intrusion." It was the first time she really spoke without having to answer something. Her brow crinkled as she thought about that but quickly cast away the thought.

Jamshad sensed that this was a lioness that would not raise paw to strike him. He smiled softly as he sat up, still quite relaxed in his movements. "No need to apologise. Simply enjoying the day." His eyes opened fully as he climbed down and took a drink from the stream, then looked to this new lioness.
"I am Jamshad. Pleasure to meet such a lovely lioness on such a peaceful day." As he spoke, he sat back and closed his eyes halfway once more. Though he looked completally relaxed and perhaps not all there, he was looking her over for any hidden threat. Part of the reason he'd gotten along so well on his own was how he remained calm at all times.

Tahki stayed where she was, her eyes locked on his the entire time... at least... where his eyes were, she couldn't really tell where he was looking.
"Yes. It is peaceful." She agreed, only to keep him pleased. She wasn't much of a fighter, but then again she could stand up for what was hers. This male didn't seem intimidating but one could never tell if they were masking a darker side. "Jamshad, I am Tahki." She added simply, her gaze not straying from him. Her tail swung back and forth before resting still again.

Jamshad chuckled lightly recognizing a type of barrier from him. As if thinking he'd attack her. Noting that, he slid off his rock, only to lay down again, his head on his paws. Though he was on his stomach, he could get up fast enough should she attack.
"Places such as these are the best, in my opinion, to meditate. And meditation helps to strengthen one's self confidence and inner peace." He smiled once more upon finishing speaking. He now looked fully there, satisfied she would not hurt him.
"Lovely name Tahki. Does it have a meaning?"
