I think as long as you get a filter for it and a heater it should be fine. If you can't find a small heater, get a light for it and that might get the heat to an acceptable range. Keep an upgrade on your list in case you ever get the chance though. Everybody loves more room. I've never been able to find a good source with the minimum tank size appropriate for guppies since so many people just keep a big tank full of them.

what are the genders? a pair in that small a tank wouldnt work well. the males harass the females way too much and the stress could kill her
two females would be a ok
two males might be a problem too...all that masculine chasing and what have you razz
