He frowned slightly "Her name was Toshi I think. I kind of remember her, even though I haven't seen her in ages and ages." "Well... maybe if I had another lanturn that'd happen? you're the only lanturn spirit I’ve met that wasn't all one color" he mused softly. "Like Goki is all yellow..." Quote: Kaze says: "All of the others I've met except for Toshi have all been one colour too" Arian paused as a thought occurred to him. "There's a lot of spirits I haven't met though - I realised that from the Secret Santa.. Maybe some of those are more than one colour too." Quote: {+Enikil+} says: "Oh maybe! I sent Tessa her gift through the mail! I still haven’t gotten mine but I hope to meet the spirit!" he smiled, "Maybe they'll be like you?" The thought of meeting others was neat but also made him a little nervous. He always feared people would find him annoying. I'd like to meet some of the others too though. There's quite a few of us even though I've not seen them all." " I know.... but its so neat that we all come from the same thing... its such a basic thing and yet we're all so complex and different.." he giggled a little and pulled up his legs. I was shocked to suddenly have clothes and stuff.... I was just a blob almsot before" he grinned and wriggled his toes. "it took me a while to get used to all the things I had, like my toes! I kept stubbing those!" Quote: Kaze says: Arian grinned "True." Another thought occured to him "Do you think that lady who gave Enikil your lanturn would know why we can use lanturns? I'd love to know why one made me grow wings - even though I love having them." He grinned at Aikori "I love feathers - I've always loved them for some reason... Although I don't know why... Having wings means I have lots of feathers of my own though!" Quote: {+Enikil+} says: "Oh maybe!" Aikori exclaimed, his eyes bright with the idea. If she gave the his lanturn to Enikil, she'd have to know why he was in it! "We need to find her!" He sat up straight once more. " I like feathers too.... capes are neat too! I puse my sheets sometimes as a really long one!" Quote: Kaze says: "Yes!" Arian agreed, excitement in his eyes. "She has to know about lanturns if she gave yours to your Dad." His voice quietened as a thought occured. "Maybe she's the only person who knows - I haven't been able to find anything else out anywhere..." He thought about it and then added "Well not in Mum's books or at the library or stuff." Quote: {+Enikil+} says: "maybe.... maybe she even made the lanturns..." he mumbled, thinking about this as much as he could. " but with that many lanturns she'd have to have help so maybe there is another person?" he chewed his lip and fidgeted a little. "Maybe if we go down to the market someone will know?" Quote: Kaze says: Arian nodded "Maybe! There are so many of us after all," he frowned. "But if she made the lanturns does that mean she made 'us' too?" He looked down at the ground, his tail swishing slightly - he wasn't sure he liked the idea of being 'made' by someone. From watching the weird ghost tv show "Creepy Canada" he learned lots of weird stuff about ghosts and spirits. "Well... spirits are like ghosts I think... so they once had to be something else before they could be a spirit.." Quote: Kaze says: Arian blinked his green eyes confused "But ghosts are dead... At least all the ones I've ever heard stories about are. Does that mean we're supposed to be dead too?" Arian liked that idea even less than the idea of someone making him... Being dead was not supposed to be a good thing.
Not that Arian felt like he was supposed to be dead mind... After all he ate stuff and could touch stuff... Things he was pretty sure ghosts couldn't.. And besides how could his Mum hug him if he was dead? "But then how are we spirits if we're not dead then? Unless we've somehow turned into something different then a spirit ..." Quote: Kaze says: "I don't know" Arian admitted. "But why do spirits have to be dead - I don't feel dead... Besides Mum would have told me something like that if I was supposed to be dead."
She would tell him something like that wouldn't she?
His tail swished in agitation at the thought. Quote: {+Enikil+} says: "I don't know either... we come up with more questions then answers..." The green boy sighed, resting his head in his hands for a moment. Quote: Kaze says: Arian nodded still feeling a little distressed at the idea that he could be supposed to be dead. "Do you think Mum or.. Or your Dad might know?"
His voice was hesitant "I mean maybe spirits is something that they can tell us about."
Actually he wanted to ask his Mum so she could tell him that it wasn't true - he really, really didn't want to be supposed to be dead. Ghosts and stuff were neat to him, he always liked to watch shows about them. Aikori really didn't want to think of himself as dead or something close to it however, no matter how interesting it seemed. Quote: Kaze says: "I'll ask her" Arian said. I'll definitely ask her! Maybe" he hesitated. "Maybe I should ask Uncle Kori too since he works with Mum or Mum works for him or something - he seems to know about weird stuff." Not that he really wanted to ask Uncle Kori since Uncle Kori probably wouldn't even tell him and would just be mean. Digging around for change, he got up and looked at Arian. "Want to get some juice?" he know how this was out of the blue but juice always helped him think better. The unicorn spirit pointed over to the sign pointing out the direction of the entrance of the zoo "Do you think the zoo might have some where we could get some? It's weird I didn't even know the park had a zoo before today did you?" Quote: {+Enikil+} says: "No I had no idea it was a Zoo.." he said softly, counting his change quickly to see that he would have enough for two juices. "Maybe we could look at the animals too?" Quote: Kaze says: Arian nodded "Yes" he said brightening up. "I like looking at animals and zoos can be fun to look at as there are so many different animals to look at."
Digging into his own pocket he produced some coins "Do you think if we pool together could get some biscuits or something as well as some juice? I'm feeling kind of hungry too." Quote: {+Enikil+} says: They had talked long enough about strange and heavy things, something nice was due to them about now he thought. "Oh, that sounds good" he smiled and stuffed his change back into his pocket. "I'm a tiny bit hungry, I ate some toast before I came but it was a long bus ride" he smiled and spied around for a stand of some kind. Quote: Kaze says: Arian nodded "Mum and me don't live near the park any more either - not since we moved into Mum's new place. Mikomi lives somewhere near the park though and Uncle Kori lives really close but on the other side of the park." He grinned as a thought struck him "Where do you and Enikil live? I don't think I've ever been over." His green eyes looked around over to the where the zoo was "And do you think we have to pay to get into the zoo?" Quote: {+Enikil+} says: "It’s not too big.. It has and upstairs and downstairs and that’s about it... we have a nice back yard though, you should come over and swim one day!" he chimed happily, waiting for the hot weather to return so he could swim again. He hoped they didn't have to pay cause he wasn't sure if he'd have enough to get home then. "That’s neat! I'll have to come over and see your new house!" he smiled, he looked over at the stand and blinked before nodding at what he said. "Sure! it looks like a good place to check!" he smiled and headed that way eagerly. Quote: Kaze says: Arian nodded "That sounds like fun" he said as he followed after Aikori. "I've never been swimming before" he added. "You have to see our new place though I could show you all my floating plants too.. Maybe we could even have a sleepover or something!" They've yet to really get one down pat and go through with it, things always popped up. Quote: Kaze says: "I've never had a sleepover before, but they sound like so much fun." Arian laughed "I read in a book somewhere about one where people made stuff and had a midnight feast, although ever since the food colouring accident Mum won't let me near the oven." His tummy rumbled slightly. "Food coloring accident? that doesn't sound too good" Quote: Kaze says: Arian shrugged "I was experimenting and I mixed some of each of the colours into the cake mix." He grinned "It made the cake look pitch black, but it still tasted good." Quote: {+Enikil+} says: "heh Enikil wont let me in the kitchen ever since I accidentally left a margarine lid on a hot burner and it melted onto the element" he giggled a little. "Oh at least it tasted good still!" Quote: Kaze says: Arian laughed, then flushed as his stomach rumbled more insistently "All this talk of food is making me hungry." By now though they had reached the stand. Quote: {+Enikil+} says: "Mm me too" he grinned then looked up at the girl running the stand. "What kind of juice do you want?" he asked, ordering an orange juice for himself. Quote: Kaze says: Arian thought about it "Apple" he finally said decisively, while looking at the biscuits - there were chocolate chip, sugar sprinkles, chocolate-coated and ginger. "Shall I get some choc chip and sugar sprinkle biscuits. Or I could get some biscuits and some crisps" he added only just noticing the crisps. Quote: {+Enikil+} says: "I have enough that we can get both Arian!" he grinned excitedly. He'd never had crisps and biscuits before, so he wasn't sure what to expect. He grinned "if we put our coins together we'll definitely be able to get what we want I think." Quote: {+Enikil+} says: "We can get a small bit of them and share!" he smiled and placed his money on the counter and watched the lady get all of their stuff. Sometimes he wondered why more people didn't ask about them since they looked so much different then some other people. Maybe she was being polite. But if he was here and he saw a green boy walking down the street, he'd wonder a little at least. Quote: Kaze says: "That's a good idea - we can get more stuff that way." Arian added some of his money to Aikori's. "Which animals do you want to look at first?" he asked, noticing a sign pointing to the penguins and another to the monkeys and lions. Quote: {+Enikil+} says: The women took their money away and added it to the till, handing them back their change. Aikori divided it up and handed half back to Arian and pocketed his bit. "Oh Penguins! I love those little guys! They're so cute!" Quote: Kaze says: Arian tucked the change into his pocket, "Lets look at the penguins then - they've got a show soon. Maybe we could eat and then go and watch." Quote: {+Enikil+} says: "Okay! that sounds like a really good plan!" he grinned then spied around for a table they could sit at. There was a nice one with an umbrella and the little green spirit beamed. "Oh there’s a table! We could eat there! It makes it easier to eat the fries!" Quote: Kaze says: Arian took some of the stuff "Yes and we don't have to worry about maybe dropping stuff." The table looked really pretty with the umbrella and everything. "I like zoos." Quote: {+Enikil+} says: Grabbing some of the stuff as well, he thanked the lady and headed over to the table to sit at. It was a pretty good thing it was really nice outside. "I like zoos too"

Pushing open the front door, Aikori looked aroudn to find it silent, not even the dogs were greeting him. Odd.... he thought faintly as he walked in and clsoed the door behind himself. Locking the door, he slippe dhis runner off and walked intot he kitchen. Dropping his keys on the counter top, he hopped up on it so he coudl reach the cookie jar. Cloud had pushed it far enough back ont he counter were he couldn't reach it.
"Ha.." He grinned on his self victory over the albino as he sat up on the counter and munched a cookie. It wasn't often the spirit was home alone, there was at least always soemone hanging around the house. Enikil's friends like to drop by at strange hours of the day since he had an open door policy, keeping a spare key wedged under one of the planters outside.
Peering aroudn the small kitchen, the green spirit hopped off the counter top and made his way over to the answering machine. Sometimes Enikil called to let him know what he was running late or had gone out somewhere. Seeign the light flashing, he pressed the button then the code.
" Hey Aikori! Sorry I'm not home but I got called into work at the last minuet today and I wont be home until late. I know I promiced to make tonight a movie popcorn night but someone was sick and I couldn't say no. I'll make it up to you though, I swear. But you wont be aloen tonight, Cloud should be on his way home and he'll keep you company, he's makign an effort to get along with you Aikori so please play nice... and don't destroy the hosue liek the last time I left you two alone... It'd mean the world to me if you guys coudl get along even for jsut one night....Anyways I better get back, Love ya lots!"
Aikori looked at the machien and pressed t he delete button and sighed softly. Stuck in the house alone with Cloud? This sucks... so much for spending extra time with Enikil.
Peekign out the kitchen window, he spotted the albino outside in the yard, cleaning the pool so it woudl be ready for the nice weather. here he had been wanderign aroudn the hosue thinking he was aloen and he really wasnt. Showed how much he payed attention. He watched the man sweep the long cleaning net through the crystal clear water, his long white hair tied back in a pony tail, red eyes concentrating on catchign all of the debries. The two little dogs were laying in the sun on the cement near by, one watching him whiel the other was dozing lazily.
Stuffing the rest of his cookie, he washed his hands then headed out through the back door. The two dogs jumped up at the soudn fo t he door, running over while barkign to greet him.
"Hey puppies" he grinned, scooping down to hug each of them.
"Finally home brat... got Enikil's message?"" Cloud asked, pausing in his cleaning process.
"Yeah I did...." The little greet spirit said softly, standing up to look over at him. CLoud had been stayign at their house since after a storm a few weeks ago an old tree fell into his house. The place was a total mess, so Enikil offered for him to stay with them. Aikori still wasn't sure of what kind of relationship Enikil and Cloud had, but it wasn't for him to ask really. He knew Cloud made Enikil smile and thats all that really mattered to him.
"Eni went on about feeling bad for not having the movie night with you tonight... so maybe we could have our own?" The albino said, it clear that he was trying to make some sort of peace between them. "We could order soem pizza, watch the movie he had rented for you and eat soem junk food he bought already"
Pausing for a moment, the greet spirit thought this over then nodded with a small smile. Maybe he shoudl try a little harder just like Cloud to make peace between them for Enikil's sake.
"I'll go get the menu Banshee" Aikori shot, a playful grin on his face.
"Sounds good to me Celery stick" The man countered and resumed cleaning the pool.
Maybe tonight wouldn't be so bad after all....
