Did you ever realize that it's becoming popular to have Autism or Asperger's? It seems that everyone has tendencies, and is on the spectrum somewhere. I have to sort through the things I do, that are just me, and things that average people do. Which is true of most people too. I see it on the news and in newspapers all the time that someone else has autism, and that the rate of it is skyrocketing. My mom and I have an idea that it could be have to do with the preservatives in the food. All the crap we eat and have been eating since we were kids has to do with a lot of problems that people have today. But then, most people that have been eating preservatives their whole lives are fine. In my case, it's inherited. My dad's mom had it really bad to where she was mentally handicapped, and my aunt and uncle have it pretty bad, and I have it, but not as advanced. My mom says intervention really helps too. When you realize you have a problem, and you can get help with it, it makes it easier to adjust. Anyway, sorry for the rabbit trails, I just tend to babble.

Yeah I saw an Autism PSA in Canada that said that 1 in 150 children are diagnosed with Autism . If that's true then where the heck are they? Well yeah, some of it is genetics because my uncle had something like it when he was younger, and my mom had some tendencies of it. D: I forgot there was one kid I knew that I had a class with told me he had ADD which is in the same branch, but he hardly acts like it since he tells me he takes meds for it. So I guess I'm really not alone, but seriously. If 1 in 150 kids have Autism then lots of people in my school should be showing some signs they have it.

i assumed it was due to the psychology of it all becoming more and more understood. plus seeking mental help isn't seen the same as it was a decade ago. more people are coming out because more people are seeking help, you know?
