I had a dream where my Grandma died. I remember reading somewhere that prophetic dreams are in color and follow a logical order. This dream was in color, and followed an order. In the dream, my mother told me that Grandma had died. I started crying, and she tried to comfort me. And then, mom sent me to school. I couldn't make it through the first class without crying. Then I woke up. Everything had been very vivid, and I was seeing it through my own eyes (I usually don't in dreams.) I hadn't even realized I was dreaming at all until I woke up.

Recently, a very old cat that we had died. It was my Grandma's favorite cat. Also, Grandma and the cat had a lot in common, both were elderly, had problems with their legs in bad weather, etc. They were companions in their old age. When the cat died, Grandma cried for a long time. A week later was when I had this dream.

So, is Grandma's presence in the dream just symbolic, a way of my subconscious's grieving for the cat? Or is Grandma going to die? Or is it just some random dream that flashed through my head while I was sleeping and has no real meaning?

Whoa. Well....I honestly have no idea what that means.

But if your dream meant that your grandmother is going to die, then If I were you I would prepare for her death. That way you would be emotionally prepared and could accept her death. I mean she is old. Old people die sometime.

To me, I think that dream has no real meaning. It's just a dream. Or maybe you're just scared that your Grandma is going to die because the cat died. They are the same after all, maybe you're just scared that your Grandma will end up the same way as the cat.

I hope your Grandmother doesn't die. Better spend some time with her in case I'm wrong and you did have a premonition. ^^ Well, if premonition is the right word. I forgot what you call that sixth sense where you dream about the future. Oh well, good luck.

To dream about the death of a loved one, suggests that you are lacking a certain aspect or quality that the loved one embodies. Ask yourself what makes this person special or what do you like about him. It is that very quality that you are lacking in your own relationship or circumstances. Alternatively, it indicates that whatever that person represents has no part in your own life.

To dream of your own death, indicates a transitional phase in your life. You are becoming more enlightened or spiritual. Alternatively, you are trying desperately to escape the demands of your daily life.
