Chapter 1: Leo
It’s the Dark Ages of the alternate world of ours. It’s the year 2008 a young a teenager named Leo embarks on a journey to clear his name, avenge his friends and most important of all gain revenge of his mothers death. Leo was 16 he wore a head band his mother gave as gift always around his forehead, he was average sized and in shape he wore a plain outfit. His story starts off on a barren freeway surrounded by a dessert. He comes across a figure surrounded by shadow. As he draws near it, the being appears to a teenage girl. The expression on her face shows deep seeded hatred and anger swirls inside her. She raises her hand towards Leo and yells out. “Stay where you are!” Leo’s face covered in shadows he stops a few yards away from her. “What do you want from me?” An evil smirk slithers across her face. “Nothing, I just want revenge. “ He jumped in shock at her answer. “Revenge, what did I do for you to want vengeance on me?” Her hand started to glow forming into a heart-shaped crossbow. She aimed towards Leo. “I want vengeance for all those innocent people of clan you slaughtered. “ He looked to the ground and began to think to himself. Oh crap! Here we go again! He slightly raised his head. “I’m sorry for your loss but I can’t die yet.” With that said rage began to swell up inside her and you can see tears build up in her eyes.” What do you mean you can’t die yet?” He slowly he began walking, then he suddenly stopped and starred her in the eyes.” I’m not dying for a crime I didn’t commit plus it’s something I have to take care of first.” She swung at him he grabbed her hand and pushed her back, she came back with another punch but he jumped back a few yards. She let out a growl then raised her crossbow towards him again. “I don’t care you will die here and now!” She exclaimed. He let out a big sigh then raised his hand to her and taunted her to come at him. “Fine then, it seems I have no choice so give me your best shot.” Her cross bow brightly glowed ready to fire. “Then die!!!”
The crossbow shot a massive wave of energy, Leo stood there ready. As the attack devoured his body his cloth began to tear and rip off slowly being burned away. The girl thought he was dead but as her attack continued Leo slowly emerged from it transformed into a more powerful state and showing know sign of damage. He stood before her changed his muscles were bigger, his eyes were yellow and his attitude more serious. The girl stood there confused and a new feeling began to take over her as she gazed at Leo’s power. “B-but how, how could you have survived that?” Leo smirked confidently at the defeated girl. “I warned you I cannot die.” She fell to her knees frightened and defeated. “Get away from me, don’t kill me!” Leo came closer to her and she opened to eyes to see him back in his normal state smiling. “Don’t worry.” He said. “I won’t kill you and I haven’t killed anyone in your clan. That was my Father, but I do kinda look like him, so I understand the confusion.” He held out his hand for her. “If you still desire vengeance then come with me and help me kill my Father. She looked down and frowned. “How I do I know I can trust you? How can I know as soon as I drop my guard you won’t take advantage of me?” Leo jump in shock and began to laugh. “Are you serious, if I wanted to do that I would’ve already done it? I already knew I was stronger than you.” She looked up at him. “Why can’t you accept the fact that I’m not the bad guy?” Sadness struck her eyes as she spoke. “Because of what your father did I grew up alone with know family of friends.” Leo looked up at the sky. “Well you might not believe this but I know what you mean because of my Father I grew up alone. He killed my mother and the clan leaving only me and my older brother.” She got up slowly. “I’m sorry I’ve been so caught up in my loss that I never was able to trust anyone, maybe I can trust you. Okay I’ll join with you and together will gain vengeance for our loss."
