If you like listening to "heavy" rock music, these could be the speakers for you ... they are made out of concrete.
Makers say the dense material means they produce the perfect sound because its stiffness and high damping qualities cuts the distortion which occurs in wooden or plastic speakers.
Creator Gavin Alexander says he got hooked on trying to use the building material to make speakers in the 60s and has been improving them ever since.
Lets hope he has got it right because they have also got a heave pricetag - £6,500 per pair.

Gavin said: "My first experience of concrete as a loudspeaker material was in the late sixties when a relative used a large diameter soil pipe to house a base driver unit - I was hooked!"
He then studied material technology at London University and used his know-how to improve the purity and depth of sound.
"My latest design has been evolving for 3 years. I have carefully matched individual drive and crossover units will be used to compliment the qualities of the cabinet material. Ingredients for the concrete mix have been carefully chosen to enhance the visual as well sound quality."
