So I play this game called Diablo 2. I'm sure many of you have heard of it.
Well, one of my "friends" hacked me. Now I can't even log on.
Wanna know how they hacked me?

All you need in order to change a password is the person's email address. Then you can reset the password from there. No confirmation needed on the original email address, and don't need to be logged in, or know the password.

I'm so pissed. I called blizzard, they can't change it back to what it was because they don't keep record of original email addresses. Bastards.

I had my best character on that, level 89 magic find sorc who pwned everything in her path, including on Hell. Not to mention skullders armor, shako helm, stone of jordan ring, the entire tal set, and more.

Blizzard fails pretty hard when it comes to getting back hacked accounts. On WoW the account is usually banned before they get to trying to retrieve it.

Diablo 2 days... good times.
Miss my lvl 87 hardcore necromancer. Had full trangs set. emo
But yeah, blizzard doesn't really have a proper hacking recovery system yet, nor probably have it for such games since they are working mostly on WoW, Starcraft 2 and D3.

They're suppose to becoming up with a new battlenet system here soon, it's going to be released when starcraft 2 is out. Which Ic an't wait for as well as D3 <3

And they need to stop working on so many projects and work out the kinks in what they've got. I mean hell, starcraft ghost got cancelled because they started too many projects. and starcraft 2 has been pushed back a thousand times over.

True on that. Sadly I think the game that sells the less will get more neglected since they are going to make more patches and better stuff to the ones that the people play the most, but we shall see how that goes. As for me I might get D3, but we shall see. Not much free time as before.

I'm definatly going to get D3. No doubt, i'll be heading into college at the time though. But since it's going to be free online play I think it'll be a good buy, and i've been keeping up on it and it looks really fun. It has more of a WoW feel to it...which I don't like...but one can hope it's good. It's just too bad they didn't keep it more like the first and second.

Agree on that. I just wonder if they have hardcore mode again, and how long till some programmer figures out a trigger hack and start screwing up people again hahaha. xD

I'm sure they'll do hardcore again. I never did end up doing hardcore, I was always afraid to die. xD

But yeah, tch, hackers are quick with things so i'm sure it shan't take long xD

Lol. In the end that's all I played. xD But frustrating when you lost a high character, especially when doing mf runs. xD
You always needed a panther and your finger on the escape key just in case. xDD

xDD I don't think I could handle that, I know I kept dying quite a bit just doing baal runs at first trying to level my character up.

I say you kill your friend. Why would they even do that?
