Cool; I wanted to learn how to play the flute when I was younger, but once I picked up the bow and ... "axe" [guitar] , I knew those were my instruments right there. biggrin

I play electric bass guitar. I feel that I should probably clarify that I don't play rock music. And I never ever will. (Not that there's anything wrong with those of you who do play rock music. It's just not for me.)
I play jazz bass. I improvise, I jam, I groove, I walk. I was supposed to learn to play an upright, but someone stole our school's upright bass before I could learn. (I know, right, how do you steal something that big without getting caught?) But it's not really all that much harder anyway from what I hear... stare
HOWEVER, if I'd had any choice at all, I would have liked to learn to play trumpet. Just because it's so completely awesome. There's a long story behind why I don't... but it's long. neutral

I play guitar and I used to play the violin. I sing as well. I've been told that singing is my best talent.

I play the drums, having that being one of my first few instruments.
I play the Trombone, and that was my first technical instrument aside from the flute, as I could not play a simple F note.
I play the Electric Bass Guitar, and have been since my brother made me buy it off of him. My model is an Ibanez Soundgear starter bass, which is very good for its value, and it is also a discontinued model.
I play a little of the acoustic guitar as well as electric, thanks to my brother offering to teach me that as well.
I started out playing the flute, if you could call it playing. I bought the instrument, but was unable to play the first note that the other students were taught, the F, I do believe.
I can play the keyboard a little bit.
That, I do believe is the basics of which I play.

Wow... lots of guitarists...
I've been singing since I was four... that makes ten years, and one competitive year included in that ten.
I've been playing violin off and on since I was nine.
Guitar for two years.
Bass for for a year and a half.
Piano since ten.
I started playing violin first, with singing as just a hobby. Now, it's the other way around... lol
