Christine Chapel was studying her medical textbooks getting ready for one of the many big tests she was required to take to become a nurse. She had always been at the top of her classes but she was always the one who had to be prepared and organized at all times. She had given up her career as a bio researcher to search for her fiance, so it was very important to her that she did the best she could. Her hopes were that a deep-space assignment aboard a star ship would one day reunite her with him. Her fiance was Dr. Roger Korby, a well known scientist who disappeared during his expedition to Exo III. She realized that she had become distracted and got angry with herself. There was no time for distractions. She had to be prepared for whatever may come her way.

She checked the watch in her dorm. She was going to have to leave very soon for her next medical class. She sighed and started to collect what she needed for her class: her notebook, her textbook on rare space diseases, and her communicator. She placed everything in her bag. She looked around making sure she did not forget everything and headed for the door. She hoped that when she found her fiance that he would be proud of her.
