Prince broke off with Vanity 6 and came up with Apollonia6 not and original ideal.Only the Lead singer is different so the name change. User Image

That's right. And Vanity was supposed to play the role of Prince's companion in Purple Rain but they had a falling out so at the last minute he got Apollonia to replace her and then they started rumours that they were dating although in reality Apollonia was already married so it was just to start a buzz. It was not true.

never heard that rumor, interesting - What caused the fall out w/Prince and Vanity. Apollonia looks better for the group too.
