Once the world was in balance, the word and void constantly battled without our knowledge. Demons and knights of the word fought for their respective deities and those with magic began to appear in the world. That was thirty years ago, now the world has been corrupted, the scale tipping in the void's favor long ago. There are still knights and demons, but children with magic are becoming more common, even if they don't think it's magic. The air has become dangerous to breathe and those who try to brave the world outside either die, get taken by the demons and once-men, humans who have been swayed by the demons, or they change into horrible creatures, the three known changes are lizards, spiders and moles. Some areas are less dangerous than others, usually large cities. These places have become refuges for children who were turned away from the camps, safe places for those who are still alive. This world is truly what one would call chaos, but perhaps someone can change this world, maybe for the better or maybe for the worse. It's up to you. But don't think that demons and humans are all there is, there are other magical beings as well. There are faeries, tatterdemalions, and feeders. Tatterdemalions are ghost-like creatures that look like a child and are made up of the memories of dead or lost children. Feeders are shadowlike beings who feed on high powered emotions, such as rage and fear, they are relatively harmless, but if you let yourself go, they will feed off you until you either die or calm down. So be wary of this world and choose a side, but choose wisely, it may be the last choice you make.
