itchyman24 meh some girls actually wear nice, modest clothes. and i don't mean like overly modest. and those girls attract guys too, instead of some horny idiot... but that's not the point. what i'm just saying that when a woman calls another woman a hoe, it's like a huge insult. this is because prostitution is looked down upon between women. so, women are trying not to be hoes That's heavily regional. In conservative America, I've noticed that skank, slut and ho are all insults. New Zealanders tend to use those terms in a friendly manner as well, appending the word "cheap" when they want to be insulting.

Cats aren't looked down upon, but most wouldn't take kindly to being called "catty".
