mitsh you won a long time ago continuing a battle once you have one the war is just sad and does indead make you look like you have a need to smash others to the ground in order to make your self feel better.

If movie tropes have taught me anything, it's that becoming complacent once you've "won" usually results in a weakness being discovered and exploited, and your side being overwhelmed by something they didn't forsee. I was being thorough, and I don't think I can legitimately be faulted for that.

Augh, dizzy, the battle hasnt necesarily been "won" by anyone, were not battling, he is just seeking for proof or the information that i at the moment have no means of supplying, im trying my best to do the requested things, however it is proving difficult as many technical problems have been happening with my laptop. (i apologize for the wait)

About your post: The bandwidth might have been overloaded and your post might have jammed, it happens frequently, especially since this website usually has over 20k ppl on it at once, probably 9/10ths of them are posting in forums and guilds, so it may lag for a while.

Were we trying to prove the Necronomicon exists again?

Because... I can prove that it doesn't. Is that the same?

I wonder if you know that the Necronomicon has NOTHING to do with necromancy. Just because they share a common prefix doesn't mean they are the same subject of magic. It is the book of Dead Names AKA The Elder Gods of the Cthulhu Mythos.

There are those copies that have been made based off of Lovecraft's writings. They are used for precisely what Lovecraft talked about, summoning the Elder Gods. You know...Cthulhu, Yog Shoggath? Those guys.

Anyone can pick one of those up and use it, it isn't that hard.

Have you read anything by Lovecraft? Do you know who Cthulhu is? He is the High Priest of Madness! He makes you go insane!

Necromancy is the art of divining the future etc through the Dead. A very misunderstood art.

I very much doubt you have a pre-Lovecraft version of the Necronomicon. Being that the Necronomicon was inspired by such languages as Echnocian which when you read it looks like a bunch of nonsense. YAYAYAYHFUCNHUDM. Pretty much. Oh, and the fact that it doesn't exist.

If what you have is in Egyptian that doesn't even make SENSE as the Necronomicon, if it truly existed, would come from the dead city of R'lyeh, which also doesn't exist. You most likely have the Book of the Dead which does NOT give life to the dead and is not a large tome. It was written on papyri and is quite short as I have read it at my local library. The Mummy created it to be some ancient powerful spell book that raised the dead, which is simply not true.

The Cthulhu Mythos is a paradigm that some Chaos Magicians use. Mitsch can probably tell you more about that, because I don't really understand that aspect of Chaos Magic.

Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn

Is that in your book by chance?

arent you an inquisitive one... UMBRELLA TERM! Books did exist in egypt, although in rare from true, but if you had a large collection of info would you want to carry maybe 12 bags of scrolls or one book? Just quit complaining and wait for my stuff to be fixed, jeez.

You are referring to the Alexandrian library I believe, and those books came from the Roman empire. One very large scroll would work.
