The canyon of death holds the doors to hell, and is guarded by the keepers of it. Elite shinigami who have been stripped of their wills. Their is one for each elemental manipulation Fire, Earth, Wind, Water, and Soul. They can not die as the door to hell will simply open and place a new one in them as soon as the current soul expires. If the bodies are destroyed the gate will just open and create a new one.
Tanrei walked slowly down the path into the canyon, she was terrified for the first time in a long time as she already felt the riastu of thousands of dead evil souls. She saw the keepers standing around the gate quickly and knew that she would get the battle she came for. Her zanpaktou had already entered her body and she was in her Shikai ready to go as the keeper wearing the fire symbol looked at her drawing his sword it erupted in flame as she vanished and reappeared slamming a spinning kick with her right kick into his head. He went flying into the water keeper as blades of wind and boulders 5 feet in radius came flying at her. It was hard to dodge it all but she was managing even as the other two keepers joined the fight. Soul sat at teh gate as the final line which she knew was normal.
