Stasia blinked, then offered him a smiled. "It's a fast-food restaurant." she explained. "You've never heard of it before?" Geez, in this day and age, she thought everyone had heard of McDonald's. Oh well, she wouldn't make fun of Zee for it, like she would have with anyone else.

Zee's eyebrows furrowed in further confusion. His idea of fast food was a peanutbutter and jelly sandwich. Maybe this Mcdonalds made those too? He had honestly never been to such a place. "Fast food?" He repeated, with a slight frown. "Can't we just go to the Peaceful Kitchen?"

Stasia sighed, then smiled a little. "Alright, if you want to go there, we can." she said, giving him a one-armed hug. Besides, she could always have McDonald's for dinner, anyways. She was sure the kids wouldn't mind at all.

Zee gave her a bright smile, and returned the hug. "Let's get going then!" He said, taking her hand and practically dragging her down the hall. Finally, they got to the school's enterence. Zee looked for all the world like he was escaping from prison.
'Which way?" He asked, when they were out in the fresh air. "I don't know where it is from here."

"Well, I guess you're right in a way," Kay replied, after considering Adrian's comment for a moment. She usually preferred preparing her own food - possibly from being raised to take care of herself. Both herself and Gavin had been taught to cook when they were quite young. Their sister, however, was a different story.... When he took her comment about starving seriously, she couldn't help but roll her eyes and smirk. "I was just joking, Aid!" She blinked as the nickname slipped out of her mouth, not even sure where it'd come from.
Gavin's mouth dropped open at Livvy's question. "What- What are - " He stopped in mid-sentence, completely unable to finish the phrase. "Oh, that's it!" he exclaimed, quite firmly. "You are most definitely having a burger and fries." He quickly stepped up to the counter, not even hearing her second comment as he placed two orders of burgers and fries. "Do you like lemonade?" he asked, glancing back at the elf with a questioning look.
((Lol! So much for Livvy being shy. xD ))

Adrian smiled, and nodded, before taking another chip. "Home cooked is always the best." He muttered, before placing the chip into his mouth. He chewed and swallowed, before blinking at his new nickname. "Oh.." He said, a slight confused look on his face. He knew what joking was, certainly, but this kind.. He had never experienced it before.
Weird, Gavin seemed determined to get her to eat whatever these burgers and fries were. She looked around the restaurant, blinking. It was a colorful little place. "Lemonade sounds good." She said with a smile.

Kat nodded, smiling. "I agree." At his obviously confused look, she couldn't help but feel just a bit bad. She had a somewhat strange sense of humor, and apparently Adrian was having some trouble catching on.
Gavin nodded at her reply and turned to order a lemonade and a sweet tea. Once the order was placed, he went and stood by Livvy. "I got you one without onions, just in case you didn't like it," he explained. He stole a glance towards the workers behind the counter, rocking back and forth on his heels impatiently. He was absolutely famished and those silly humans just couldn't move fast enough to please him.

Adrian smiled, and took a bite of his BLT. His eyes grew as big as saucers as he swallowed. "This is good!" He said, before taking another bite. He hadn't imagined a BLT being so good.
"That sounds lovely."Livvy said with a smile. Of course, she didn't mind onions all that much, but she wouldn't mention that. "What would you like to do after lunch?" She asked, looking up at him politely.

Stasia shrugged, smiling slightly as she stretched in the bright sunlight. "No idea." she said, looking over at him. "Pixie-boy drove me here, and I didn't pay much attention along the way. Sorry, Zee." She glanced around, not recognizing the immediate surroundings.

Zee gave a mock sigh before taking Stasia's hand. "Let's get going then. We'll find it, and if not--" He made a face as if he was dreading it if they didn't manage to find the Peaceful Kitchen-- "We can always go to a fast food place."

Stasia smiled, giving his hand a small squeeze. "Don't look so eager." she said, giggling. "Don't worry; fast food isn't that bad. Promise." she said, starting to walk. "And thanks for busting me out of there." she said, truly grateful.

Zee smiled and shook his head. "Alright, I'll try it." He said. "But if it's bad..." He teasingly threatened, "I'll.. I'll tell Matthias you were misbehaving."
Not that he ever would. He loved Stasia too much to ever get her into trouble--even if was awkward for a teacher to be dating their student. He knew Stasia was older than he was, so it worked out, right?
