Alright, I have attended three tournaments before, so this will be my fourth. I'm nervous. I am trying to relax, but there has been an added pressure. I don't want to say exactly, but let's just say I really don't want to let my instructor down. (Don't worry, it's nothing bad.)
So, I know I'm not guaranteed to be successful, but you think you could give me any tips to help with kata and sparring last minute? Not really anything that needs to be practiced, but bare basics, things that are often over looked and easily fixed. Like, for us, you score better when locking you leg out in a forward stance (walking stance). That type of stuff.
I know this is very last minute, but I just want to hear what any of you have to say.

I don't practice Karate... but my advice would be that when you do your Kata, make sure you get low stances where needed. Your stances will rise up drastically when you you are nervous!
One of the Kung Fu teachers, after performing at a demonstration, that it is not about how well you do, it is about getting up there and even performing at all.

Thanks, I'll remember that, and I got third place! ='D
