I know people know Greek mythology and Egyptian mythology. But does anyone know about Dahomey mythology.

It's very wonderful. It's been exposed in such movies as child's play or the skeleton key. but always shown as an powerful evil. but it's really nice.

I discovered this when studying Chinua Achebe's Things Fall Apart. A few months ago I got the chance to get into it with a course on African poetry and Drama. Esu Elegbara also called Legba, Ogun with his Anansi like attributes both members of the Dahomean Pantheon...gorgeousness!

I'm glad someone else knows. Whenever I talk about alot of people look at me crazy. It is seriously a gorgeous thing I have truly studied.
