Coda blushed a bit at the curious look he was getting. He was used to his family just rolling their eyes at him or otherwise ignoring him. "Um, I guess that's fair. Except since we're not in a house, let's make the boundaries.... That tree *He pointed* That fence *He pointed in the different direction*..... and that house and the small pond. Is that fair?

Vali looked at the boundaries. "Yeah that sounds fair." He glanced around at the surroundings and judged distances. "So what number should the seeker count to?" He stretched his arms over his head and yawned.

Coda thought about it for a second, looking around, Um, let's count to 30. It's a big area. You can count to twenty for me if you like. I know the area pretty well so it would be an unfair advantage for me to have more time.

Vali smiled. "Sounds good to me, though I don't mind counting to 30 for you." He leaned over and tied his shoes tight. "Let's start playing then."

Coda watched as he tied his shoe for a second and then nodded. "Alright. I guess I'll start counting whenever you're ready then." He glanced down at his doll again and wondered if he should put it down for the game. He decided to hold onto it longer. As long as his father didn't send any spirits to come find him, he was okay just playing like this.

Vali stretched towards the sky for a few seconds and then relaxed. "Alright I'm ready." He took a brief look of his surroundings, ready to take off as soon as Coda started to count.

Coda closed his eyes and covered them with his hand, and started counting, trying to think of places that he would start looking. "One... two... three... four...." When he got up to thirty he opened his eyes and looked around. "Hm, alright, ready or not, here I come!" He started his search.

Vali sat down quietly in his spot. He took a deep breath, trying to quiet his heartbeat and catch his breath.

Coda wandered around, looking in some of his usual spots, and tried to find some of the places his sisters usually pounced out of, but did not seem to prevail. He suddenly realized that he was not very good at hide-and-go seek and wondered why he agreed to play. He poked his doll starting to sniffle. "I... I can't find him!"

Vali peeked out when he heard Coda sniffle. 'Awe, poor thing.' He thought, feeling bad about almost making the Bugon cry. He looked out again at Coda and started to sneak away in the other direction. 'Maybe he'll see me and stop crying.' Vali thought.

Coda was still looking around and managed to spot Vali moving, he felt proud of himself for spotting him. "Ah! Found you!" He happily bounded over to the spot he had seen him in.
(haha, Coda isn't very good at Hide and go seek)

When Vali heard Coda's voice he slowed down so that the Bugon could catch him. "Bet you can't catch me!" He called to Coda.(Haha, you're right.)
