Though that still didn't explain why after he repaired the head to full working order he proceeded to pretty it up with a henna star tattoo, or do up the hair or do the make-up... She didn't even know the man could apply make-up before then, to which he just responded that he used to sell a line of health products that include cosmetics...
The_Wizard walked in and nearly bumped into his assistant/secretary, "oh? What are you doing just standing there for?"
Startled she turned around, "Oh, ah... nothing really," she stammered as she righted the tray after nearly spilling the coffee, "I brought you coffee and sandwiches."
"Ah, good good, just put them down somewhere," he said to her as he quickly typed in a command to the computer to bring up the schematics on screen. Absently taking one of the mugs and taking a slip of the coffee he muttered to himself, "legs are complete but I'll still need at least a 48 hours to grow enough bio-skin to cover them... and I still need to repair the chemical burns..."
"Maybe you should repair the burns first with the batch of bio-skin we have already and wait until the next batch to attach the legs," she stated as she moved to her station, where she noticed a "minor" change in the schematics for the new legs compared to the old ones. "Ah.. Sir? Why is-" "Ah, yes, I see you've noticed the changes." She jumped a bit as she realized that he was now standing directly behind her, looking at her screen over her shoulder. "The client requested that little addition, I told the client when they came in with the repair order that it would cost extra and that if they wanted one for that purpose they could just purchase one the models from our sex-a-doll line." Moving back to his own station now he toke another slip of his coffee.
"I'm sure they could have any number of reasons why they need infiltration and assault unit that's also anatomically correct sir," she replied.
"I'm sure they do, but as they have paid up an large bonus I don't really care," he replied dismissively.
"Bonus sir?"
He punched up a number on screen and she nearly fell over in shock, all that for this so-called "minor" adjustment? Then again, if the client was really willing to pay this much she really wasn't going to question it.
"You see now why I didn't ask questions," The_Wizard said up seeing the look on her face, "hopefully we can retain them as our client in the future," he smiled at that thought, thinking of the of all the future profit he would make.
"Ah.. y-yes sir..." she stammered out as she moved turned back around and began to work.
