I think it will be better because there is a new director and twilight's director was known for sucky choppy movies. wink

I think it's gonna be better. It's already looking better, it needs a darker color scheme so far I've seen it. I will still always love the books better though. The Edward I had made up in my head is far better looking than Robert Pattinson. And the movie Bela urks me. Love at first bite...

The books and movies suck. Plain and simple...
I have read only a couple chapters in the book and I couldn't stand it. The author does not know how to read or write a book. Her writing is atrocious, FULL of wish-fulfillment and sappy at best. I would rather read a lame historical fiction book then Twilight and the movies aren't much better. They were poorly directed, casted and the lines were so god awful I couldn't stand it...
A friend of mine didn't actually understand why it was so lame (having read the book and survived), but after telling my reasons about it, he couldn't look at it. He, like many others, have realized that her way of writing books is just so D*** poor that it's a wonder anyone can read it...
A few other reasons why I take offense to it all of it in context because it is more of a sappy love story then a vampire flick. As an emotional man, I don't mind romance. In fact, I enjoy it, but one does not make a vampire flick and leave out the "vampire". There was little blood to be said of (as in biting) the "vampire" character did not act like a normal vampire and for one of the most important reasons of all...
VAMPIRES DON'T GLITTER!
There are things in the vampire community that are hard bound and accepted. Her sense of "originality" is mental. I doubt she even KNOWS what it means to be a vampire character. I think she got a little too hung up on the romance side of Vampires, which, should be portrayed, but not when it DOMINATES their character stare
And frankly, if i was in Bela's place, I'd be laughing my f***ing a** off at the sight of a glittering male, which usually means they're gay!
I truly believe that if I could rewrite her story, cutting it up and refitting as I pleased, it would be SO MUCH BETTER!
Which I'm going to prove to the world anyway when my own Vampire Novels hit the shelves...you wait and see...
My name will be plastered over hers and people will know just what a VAMPIRE NOVEL REALLY IS!
.....-cough-
