Hey, I recently joined (thanks Gwyn!!) and I was reading through, and a poem just came to me. And, hopefully, more will soon. But if not, sorry, poetry can be evasive with me. Feel free to offer comments.
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ Are we ever free? Falling, down the stairs. The stairs of life. Many doors, But I have no key. Alone. Are we ever free? Trapped. All you sacrificed. Falling. Do you hear me scream? Are we ever free? Afraid. A chill rolls up my spine. You were never mine. Alone without a key. Are we ever free? _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _

Was looking for a blind man to show me the way they say that only the blind knows
So, I kept on walking looking for a blind man to take me to places I've no name for
Got to find him I keep thinking and I kept on hoping because without the blind man how am I to see?
I need the blind man to show me the way To the heavens I've lost I've got to find a way whatever it costs.
This is a kind of answer to yours... you're looking for something... just as this one will search to no end.

Everyone is strong, but everyone is weak. Everyone is wise, but everyone's a fool.
Everyone hides, but no one goes unseen. Everyone lies, but truth is always known.
Everyone cries, but no one sees a tear. Everyone screams, but everyone is fine.
No one is fine.

Glass Figurines. Flawless, so it seems. Glass Figurines. Yet empty, lost with no dreams. Glass Figurines. Full of Pride and ever-bold. Glass Figurines. Their perfection to some never gets old. Glass Figurines. So few in the world. Glass Figurines. Too fragile to be hurled. Glass Figurines. Each detail a lie. Glass Figurines. They believe they can Fly. Glass Figurines. Hiding Behind a mask. Glass Figurines. In their glory they bask. Glass Figurines. With beauty of gold. Glass Figurines. Yet their hearts are so cold. Glass Figurines. They do their best to hide, Glass Figurines. The demons locked inside. Glass Figurines. Flawless, so it seems.

Wow...I like the 'Glass Figurines' one. I ended up reading every other line, so that the words 'glass figurines' ended up sounding like a chant in the background. It is a very powerful poem, bravo!
