An article about a device that can determine the gender of your baby in utero (with less than 100% accuracy)

Yay! Now people can kill their unwanted icky useless girls off even SOONER! All the sexist parents who abort their child for being the wrong gender will be thrilled ^^

Who wants to bet this will be banned in the countries that ban parents from seeing the ultrasound to keep them from killing off their baby girls?

Who wants to bet this will be banned in the countries that ban parents from seeing the ultrasound to keep them from killing off their baby girls?

I don't think (??) this is a problem in the West. But I am not certain. (Plus remember: GIRLS in the West are valued.)

I do foresee home-testing kits being banned for awhile in select countries. Though I also foresee that the same countries will have lax policing efforts. Remember, culture dictates gender-killings, not governments. sad

I don't think (??) this is a problem in the West. But I am not certain. (Plus remember: GIRLS in the West are valued.)

I think it balances out in the West, but it still happens and it's still an acceptable reason to get an abortion because that's your choice.

I bet it will be banned in India, though. There's a blackmarket in ultrasound viewing for this purpose.
