HEY! I just got back from Utah's Girls State, it was awesome, but the meetings were boring and I learned a lot about government and our country.
Has anyone here been to Girls/Boys State? and how was your expericenc if you have?

um... i've never actually heard of it. you learn about politics and government and stuff?
what cool info did you learn?

I learned a lot of flag respect, how to run a state govenment, how voting in the state works, there was a lot of stuff to learn and a lot of meetings to try and stay awake in. I was a state delegate and voted in the nominees for state offices and a judge of election who helped with all the voting and counting ballots by hand, yuck.
It was great, I earned a lot of respect for our countries leaders, our veterans (who deserve it) and the troops now who also deserve it.
All in all, it was awesome.
