The girl grinned. "That looks pretty nice to me, but you're the expert here so just do what you think is best. Though, mind my horns if you please?" she requested lightly, only just realizing they might be a bit of a problem.

About two hours later, give or take, the girl stood up with an even broader smile on her face than when she'd walked in. Her hair looked completely different and though she was the same old Ebby, the girl felt freer, more pretty for some reason. Turning to Alex with a huge smile, the preteen immediately threw her arms around him to give the man a large hug.
"Thanks for all your help."

"No problem! You go home and tell everyone how good you did. And don't forget to come back!"

"All right." Ebony agreed with a cheery nod. And with that, the young girl was on her way again. True, her mother might have objections to her going to some random stylist without permission, but she'd probably get over it after a minute.
