The closest neighboring town is an hour away by bike

Daga, kangaete mireba sore ni fuben wo kanjiru hitsuyo wa nakatta
But, whenever I think about the inconvenience of getting there I always decide there's no need

Mae no machi ni ha tashikani reco-doya mo ge-musenta- mo aisukuri-muya mo attaga, betsu ni sorera wo hinpan ni riyou shiteita wake janai
The other town has it all; CD store, arcade, ice-cream store... but really I don't need to visit those places all that much

Aisucuri-muya ni itatte wa, 10 sai mo suminagara tsuini ichido mo haeru koto ha nakatta no dakara
For example, I think for the ten years I've lived here I haven't gone to that ice-cream shop once

… Ichido kurai wa tabeniikeba yokatta.
Though it would have been nice to go there and eat at least once...

What crime of that magnitude a lone girl could commit isn't something I can imagine, but I still think she should be forgiven.

Because... if she had done something that bad, what would be the point of all the apologizing?

As my dad shook me I slowly awoke and opened my eyes

Finally the train had arrived at its terminal destination.

Looking out the window at the pre-noon landscape it seems like the fact that this is the same country...
