Hello there peoples!
With the thread moving again, and more than a few members, I would like to take the time to make this thread for all the artists of the group!
A lot of characters, by this time, have made both friends and enemies. Some more so than others. Not only that, but we've had battles, group scenes, monologues, all great things to illustrate! If anyone here loves to draw, go ahead and put any fanart up here for everyone to see! Now, there are a couple rules, however;
1) Keep it clean. No nudity, please. Tender scenes are plenty fine, encouraged, in fact, but please, nothing more than that.
2) Your work only. Seriously, what good would it do you to show off art that isn't yours? If you put something up here, have some way to prove that it's yours, or I'll assume that it's NOT yours, and delete it.
3) Keep on Topic. This thread is called Repercussion: Fanart, and thus it is fanart about Repercussion. You could be the greatest Harry Potter fan artist on Gaia, but, to be honest, I don't care. That's not what this is for. There are plenty of other threads that would worship you for that.
That's all of the rules for now, but I'm sure SOMETHING will happen, and I'll be adding a rule. Keep an eye up here.
NOW FOR THE IMPORTANT PART!
Praise and exposure are all well and good, but that really doesn't get you too far in a Forum. So, I'm making this a contest-of-sorts! Every week, starting today, June 5th, 2009 (according to my current time zone) I will be choosing a victor among the pictures put up for that week! The victor shall receive 20k (20,000) gaia gold to start with, but that'll probably increase or expand to include items or collectibles later on!
I have to say a few things about the contest, though, just so I don't have to answer them later:
It can be any time, place, or situation in the realm of Repercussion : City, past, present, or future. Any circumstance, any members. Couples, battles, portraits, all accepted with open arms. But, it can ONLY be members of Repercussion : City. You could draw a realistic, full-fledged battle scene involving every character that has ever been on here, but if there is even one character that has never been a part of Repercussion, your drawing is exempt.
Judges: Me. That's it, just me.They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I am the beholder. Make it beautiful to me.
I'll put in art of my own every now and again, but, of course, it won't count towards the contest. You don't HAVE to put any art in for the contest, but you have to say that you don't want it in, or I will automatically assume you want in. Although, it's free, so why wouldn't you?
I'll judge fairly, I always have every time I was a referee for anything, so you don't have to worry about that.
So, unless I have forgotten anything...
