Satan On The Beach Gaia was the black lady on Captain Planet who was Captain Planet's boss. I still don't remember, but it's been forever since I've seen that show.

I can understand that, she was only on at the beggining of most episodes. She had an episode ot two where she had amnesia, but that's the most she was ever on. Did you know Whoppi Goldberg did her voice?

Heh heh... I knew the stuff about Gaia being the goddess of the Earth, but when I read the topic in the forum I thought you guys were talking about the site Gaia, and who founded it and all. I was going to admit that I didn't really know... don't really know much about anime, in fact. I just joined this site this summer at my best friend's urging. I ended up finding my niche in guilds like this one, and I do like the site in that it allows me to keep in touch easily with my friend. But I really don't know much about this site itself. sweatdrop

Gaia, also spelled Gaea, is the Greek earth goddesses. She was mother of Cronos/Saturn.

Gaia is the Earth mother in Greek mythology. I used to be way into mythology when I was younger. I think I heard once there is a religion that goes by that name, but I think Earth mother is pretty much a universal term here
