Raquel was beaming. She let out a shaky, teary laugh, taking his hand from her face, kissing his fingers briefly before taking his face in her hands instead. She said no words. Nothin at all. She just looking him in the eye, her eyes just glowing and glittering from pride, happiness, and gratitude. She pulled his face toward her, kissing him so passionately, despite all the spectators. A few people let out cat calls, some whistled, but they all were ignored as they made their exit. Raquel didn't let him go. She just held him tightly, kissing him as if it were their last kiss ever. Finally, she pulled away, now new tears filling her eyes. "T-..that was beautiful..." she whispered so quietly, her voice so soft and sweet, meaning everyword. Damian had literally left her speechless. All she could do was hold his face and look into those lovely silver eyes.
Nat watched the two with a sad smile. But he finally stood walking by, giving Damian a pat on the back. "Incredible man...Insane. You come back whenever the hell you want got it?" He smiled, before letting them have some alone time.

"I did not mean to make you cry..." He felt guilt ridden at that, and Nat. Clearly he had feelings or Raquel, whether they were brotherly or otherwise. He felt like he was taking something from someone else, even though Raquel had been his for a good time.
"Please don't cry." Damian kissed her sweetly, and kissed her tears away until she appeared happy once more. That was a compliment and honor in itself, though, that he could make her cry with a song. "Did you know what it was saying? It's been playing through my mind or days now, and I felt like it was appropriate."

Raquel nodded, shaking herself now. "Damian-...oh God, Damian..." she laughed, throwing her arms about him. This is what she wanted. She wanted Damian to express his feelings to her without her reading them directly with her hands. Instead of being given his heart on a platter. No, this was Damian as she loved him. At his best, in her mind... "I..God I love you..." She pressed her forehead to his, trying not to cry again. "You're so...amazing.." She laughed, as the crowd started to thin out. "And- ....thats how you really feel?" She asked, trying not to choke up. She laughed at herself. "Oh....God....My Prince..." She shook her head, kissing him again.

"The Frog Prince." As they stood there and kissed and coddled over each other, Damian couldn't have been happier. He had unknowingly done exactly what Raquel had wanted him to: express himself in a way that was perfectly clear that didn't involve her seeing it directly.
The bar was beginning to close around them, with only a few workers here and there with brooms. Damian knew they had to get home soon. "You know, I'm still shaking a bit?" he laughed. "Were you like that when you were up there?"

"Only when I looked at you....but your eyes steadied me..." She answered honestly. Raquel was slightly used to being on stage. It was like an escape for her, with her music. Up higher than the scum she ahd believed she was.
Nat had let them have some time, but finally approached them, a towel over his shoulder. "Ah- hey I'm sorry to interupt...But we are closing up...Though, Raquel hun, can I ask you fora favor?" He asked, rolling hsi sleeves up as he began wiping down tables and flipping chairs. "If it's ok with you and Damian too...um...Could I see you again? I may be shipping off soon, and I'd just like to talk and see how you are...just the two of us if thats ok?" He asked politely, handing her a scrap of paper. "Call me if you think about it." Raquel said nothing but nodded, taking the slip and putting it in her pocket. "It was great seeing you Nat..." She smiled, leaning in to give him a tight hug. Nat hugged her back, but rested his hand on her head, as if he were just trying to get every last bit of her out of his system. When she pulled away, he leaned down and kissed her forehead before giving Damian a wave goodbye. He picked up a near by amp, and carried it off to storage in the back.
Raquel sighed, watching him go, though her hand went out to find Damian'd. She'd explain Nat to him later. But now... "Let's go home..." She said softly, looking up at him. "Now if we can...?" She had a strange hurried tone in her voice, but the seductive gleam behind her large eyes gave it away.

That gleam was enough to give his good-byes to Nat, and direct them out of the bar and back towards the speeder grounded nearby. Damian gave her a teasing, short kiss before opening the door for her, and quickly getting into the driver's seat for their ride home.

--------
Raquel had stopped by some smaller shops, picking up one or two key things she ahd been meaning to get for herself, ecspecially after her and Damian spoke the other night about her reading habits. But once she was done with that, she headed back for the bar, despite only being there last night, she felt like it was a million years. It was closed this early, only opening up fora few hours late sunday nights. She knocked on the glass door, peering into the darkness of the buliding until a familiar shape made his way to the fore. Nat was wearing similar clothes, wiping his hands on a towel. His greenish brown eyes brightened once he caught sight of Raquel. He promptly unlocked the door, to greet and hug her.
"R-roxy! You came..." He smiled a relieved sincere smile as Raquel hugged him back. "Of course I did...I promised I would. And you and I both know I'm true to my word." Nat laughed but nodded, inviting her in. He pulled out to lighter beers from the back, turnign on just the stage lights for them to sit and just talk. Raquel took her bottle, sighing as she propped heself up on the edge of the stage with his help.
"You know I missed this place..." She sighed again, looking up with a smile at the ceiling. Nat hesitated, joining her up on the stage. "I missed you..." He said softly, Raquel looking to him. Her face softened and her heart hurt a little. "...I missed you too..." She said equally as softly as his eyes seemed to brighten with hope. "...Though I knew we did the right thing. You went after your dream and-" "I left you here in filth and misery!" Nat cut her off, his guilt exposed. Raquel's gaze dettered, not sure of what to say. An awkward silence set in.
"...I would have stayed there...despite you leaving or not." She said simply, Nat sighing in exasperation. You were always so impossible... he thought to himself. "And ...I can see thats not the case now... Unless you really are still doing the same...how much is this rich b*****d keeping you around for hm? Does he throw in these perks for extra bed time? Do you-" the room was silenced with a loud slap. Raquel was standing, her face red, eyes hidden by her hair, but obvious tears rolling down her cheek. A blood red hand print was on Nats shocked fac. "Quel..." He whispered, Raquel just shaking slightly. "Don't....you ever talk about Damian like that...EVER." She finally shot her head up at him, her eyes firey and angry. "I may always be some hard headed filthy whore in your eyes and maybe I am, but I'll be damned if you talk about Damian like he's trash!" She screamed at him, her make up starting to run.
Nat jumped to the floor, guilt streaking his face. "Roxy-" "DON'T 'Roxy' me!" She stopped him, holding up her finger to him. "I came here to see you, to see how you were, and to catch up. I missed you Nat! I did! But now you sit here and talk trash to me? What the hell do you-" She was cut off by him this time. Nat grabbed her roughly, bringing her in and kissing her passionately. Raquel was stunned shocked, just sitting there her face still red form anger, embarassment, and a little lustfulness.
Once he pulled away there was an awkward silence. Raquel just looked at him, confused. When the shock had died down, and her anger startedto bubble up again, he spoke. "Raquel...I'm sorry, I shouldn't have said that. But you have to understand it's hard for me to see you happy with another man. Ecspecially one whos gotten you to smile, laugh, be happy...like he has...." He furrowed his brow sadly. "I didn't- ...I didn't mean to snap on you. I guess I'm just frustrated this guy waltzed into your life and got you to turn your life around and make you happy in ways I could only dream for you..." He was still holding her arms, and she was speechless.
"I'm...I'm honestly so happy for you. I just let myself get a little jealouse there..." He looked into her misty green eyes with a serious look. "Just-....Tell me one thing Rox.... Does he treat you right? He's not treating you like trash is he? Because I swear-" Raquel cut him off, kissing him carefully on the cheek.
"He's wonderful... A dream really. Nat... I think... this is the real thing." She pulled back to look at him, her eyes serious as can be. "I-...I think, that this is more than a fleeting love...or a passionate lustfull thing... Its... so real Nat." She looked at him with this confused but happy look, breaking his heart slightly. It was obvious, Raquel had found someone who made her happy, and brought her out of the filth she didn't deserve to be in. He should be happy for her, but it didn't help the heart ache.
"I-...I want to spend the rest of my life with him..." She said this so softly, pulling her hands and arms into herself, her eyes deterring as her facegrew red. "Though it's all up to him. We both didn't think this would last long but-...God I love him..." She smiled distantly to herself. Nat sighed, but smiled, bringing her into a gentle hug.
"You've grown up doll..." He said softly, just craddling her for a minute. "...the lucky b*****d..." He mumbled more to himself, makingRaquel laugh slightly. He pulled her back a little, so he could look her in the eye. "Will you promise me something though?" He asked, getting serious. Raquel nodded hesitantly. "If...ifanything goes wrong...If he hurts you...or your scared and alone...or you just want to talk. Call me." Raquel furrowed her brow confused. "I'm always here for you. Whether you like it or not I'm looking out for you ok?" He smiled, his eyes watering as he came ot terms within himself, that Raquel wasn't his. Not anymore.
Raquel just looked at him, her heart hurting slightly. She cupped his cheek with one hand, and brought him closer. Nat poised himself fora kiss, but was surprised with a quick, soft peck on the cheek. Raquel pulled away, picking up her bags. "...I promise..." She said gently as she turned to leave. She stopped at the door however, turning to look at Nat who stiood solenmly near the stage. "Nat?" She called as his head perked up to her. "I love you." But it was an innocent, casual love....not what she felt for Damian. Nat nodded, whispering his own sweet nothing to her as she disapeared out the door.
