Esme sat feeling very bored with herself, just waiting for something exciting to happen.But there was one thing that she thought was exciting, the tall yet handsome Captain Talos.Looking at him sent chills dow her spine.He was so attractive.

Talos sighed as his boredom grew larger. He walked over to a window. The great hall was a nice to place to relax but he'd rather something else than sit in a bar. A good bottle of rum would do good about now but he'd hate to cause a scene and perhaps a bar fight. Maybe it would bring a sort of entertainment in this place. He turned and leaned upon the window seal. "Boring me to death in this place." He said to himself.

Valerie looked around the great hall.She noticed Captain Talos looking as bored as she was.She needed someone to chat with and he looked like he needed some kind of company.She sheath her sword,tied it to her waist,and walked towards him."You look like you need some one to talk to,"she said sweetly as she was close to him.

Talos raised a brow. "Do I now?" He said. "Who might you be fair lass?" His tone sounding kind yet rugged. He fled his arms and stroked his goatee with one of his hands. He felt a bit awkward to have someone just approach him but a little small talk never hurt anyone too much.

Talos bowed. "Me llamo Talos." He said. "Captain Talos. A pleasure to have your company, Lady Valerie." At least there was someone to talk to now but not someone he could trust. This seemed more like a knight than someone he could relate to but it would do. Pleasantries aside, it was still company.

"Same here,Captain Talos," Valerie said,looking around the bar. She saw how Andrios's eyes followed her every move. "Why can't that man just leave me alone," she whispered to herself. "So,Captain,what is your opinion of Valhalla." She was trying to make some sorta of conversation instead of worrying about the pair of eyes that were constantly on her.

"I'd rather be dead to be honest."" He said. "Being chosen though is not a choice of my own but I'm making the best of it." He walked to a nearby table and sat down. This place made him feel uneasy but he was here now and he couldn't leave now.

Esme just watched Captain Talos and Valerie as they engaged in a more interesting conversation. She then walked over to them and leaned against the table Captain Talos was sitting at.''Hello'',she said sweetly.

Talos looked up at the young lady. He lowered his head in respect to her. "Hola, my lady." He said. Well now he didn't feel so alone but he was feeling a bit nervous since such a beautiful woman was speaking to him. "Have a seat, join us." He leaned back into his seat making himself comfortable.

Valerie sat down with Captain Talos. "Yes,join us," she said trying to be nice."So anyway.How was your life before..this..I mean if your okay with talking about it." Valerie smiled sweetly,hoping he would be okay with telling the tale of his life.

Talos took a quick glance of the Hall again. "Indeed this place does seem to be a bit drab. All I see is warriors wasting away in a cage." He said. "My tale you ask, Lady Valerie? Well to begin, my life started in slavery. After living in the low for so long my people and myself were freed by pirates thus leading me into piracy." He pulled a coin from his pocket and twiddled it between his fingers. "I came to find out that gold wasn't everything one could desire. Unlike some pirates I loved the sea for its freedom. For it's constant change against the element. I became a very renowned and feared pirate amongst the seas. To put it bluntly I was a wanted man." He rolled the gold coin over his fingers back and forth. "I was finally cornered by the French Naval Fleet." He paused as he remembered the battle cries, the cannons fire, the cold breeze matching that of the ocean's temperature. "There I held my final battle where even though I was taken down. The French Navy was reduced greatly."
