Ripped from a dimension in an energy-less state, the Pillar of Shiva is a mountain reaching into the farthest meters of the mesosphere. Surrounding it in all spheres is a torrent of clouds, spraying blue and white light and lightning. It is proposed that it the light and lightning hitting the mountain (as well as everything else in the dimension that the mountain was pulled from) that keeps it frozen. The area inside the clouds is below absolute zero, causing it to pull energy from things that dare enter it. Only the constant lightning strikes and light bursts keep it well lit on the inside, for no other light enters or leaves. The speed at which the clouds move around it causing violent sea storms, the constant appearance of tidal waves and whirlpools showing so.
