DRAMA: The One Thing That is NOT Tolerated Here
I cannot stress this point to you guys enough.
The personal attacks/flaming of others disgusts me and it needs to stop. We are all mature enough to have a proper conversation/give advice without resorting to petty arguing and insults.
If you have nothing constructive/nice to say, don't post... just leave the thread and be mature about it okay. People that are being really nasty & hurtful in response to people expressing themselves & sharing personal info will more likely than not be banned from the guild without further warning or second chances (& we don't want to have to be banning people. guys!)
The major rule in this guild is NO DRAMA. It will not be tolerated and will have consequences. This is your final warning on this. I will not repeat it again.
How exactly does Burn define "drama", you may be wondering. For the purpose of this guild, drama equates rude, insulting, or condescending behavior towards any member(s) of this guild; clearly & deliberately hurting another's feelings; engaging in petty fighting. Debating is fine; starting controversial topics is fine within basic limitations. Making personal attacks is not fine.
The Drama Police Station
The Right Thing to Do if Somebody's Flaming You
We all know that, when people are personally attacked, they have a strong tendency to respond with a similarly natured counter-attack. Just because you didn't start the drama does not mean you're allowed to engage in it. If somebody makes a comment to you that is simply out of line, do not respond, & report the person here. Of course, you don't have to be the "victim" to report flaming. If you see a thread with comment(s) that clearly count as "drama" as Burn defines it, definitely feel free to report it!
To issue a report, fill out the following form, & PM it to me (angelfromdown-under), elyzia, or a mod focused on this subforum (Chieftain Twilight, Rock4ourRock, NomsCuppycake, Umbrae Ac Silentium) & it will be dealt with appropriately & immediately.
Also note that abuse of the reporting system carries its own set of punishments.
