It was announced at E3. I read about it on 1UP. What really sucks is that FFXIV is ANOTHER DAMN MMORPG!!!
I never played FFXI because it was an MMO, now another FF game that I won't play.
DAMN YOU SQUENIX!!! DAMN YOU.

I have a solemn vow to myself that I will never pay a monthly fee for a game. I'm teetering between wanting it to be awesome to keep Final Fantasy's standards up and wanting it to suck so I don't have to break that promise.

I'm pretty sure that FFXI was released in 2004 - 3 years after FFX was releaased.
.....
Anybody else think now that the reason FFXIII kept being pushed back is because they were working on XIII & XIV simultaneously?
.....
I'm not a fan of MMORPG's....especially ones that require you to buy the game AND then pay a monthly fee. Hell, I finished Diablo II & Diablo II: LoD and never once went online, even though their online play service was completely free...single player only for me.

It was released in 2002 in Japan; that was what I meant.
None of the names they've released for XIV, it seems, are people who are working on XIII too, but who knows... Jeez, that had better not be the case.

Maybe there's a totally different team for MMOs? So like, the previous team for XI stopped working on it, and now work on XIV, while the regular guys work on XIII.

That makes sense. Except we know Nobuo's doing all the music. heart So that's one thing that's practically guaranteed to be good. It doesn't seems they're answering questions regarding pricing yet... There's a rumor that it'll be free to play, but I wouldn't count on it at all.

Another Online game? Well then, thank god I didn't get excited about it when I heard there was a 14th core addition....
Oh well, two games instead of one for the 13th is good enough for me... xd

Hmm, maybe I'll convince my parents to let me download this one to play. Everyone tells me how bad XI is! It looks really nice. Plus, I don't have a PS3 or a 360 to get XIII....maybe by Christmas I'll have one to play it!

I read about it on TV on the little scrolling under bar when I was watching E3 and as soon as I did I yelled "DAMMIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" with my mom aunt and 2 little cousins i the room
I can't play 13 or 14 because I can't download stuff and I can't get a PS3 crying
