you'd think so...but maybe he lost the manual after only remembering the code to whipe his memory. : P

I used my awesome brain power, clever reasoning, and espionage skills to gather the info 
As for installing emotions...
Well there really isn't a way besides hooking up to his brain/hard drive and attempting to force some sort of emotion algorithm into it.
Course he'd probably just reject it and delete it. Quarantine it at least.

After that it starts back up though the virus would have a tough time.
