The world of Hagane: Haganes world is much like a bustling city. It is very similar to Tokyo Japan, but the buildings are much closer. Car noises are almost the only thing you hear. Not a sight of anything green, or naturally made by the earth is found in this world.
Release Phrase: "Protect us, Hagane!"
Shikai: (Unachieved) In Shikai Hagane Nates defense increases immensly.Nates sealed zanpakuto transforms into a large angled shield, with two handles. The shield can split in half, as used for an offensive type of weapon. Although it appears to be incredibly heavy, due to its thickness, the shield is as light as a feather, for better mobility. When the shield touches any form of iron, or steel, the shield fuses with that to make it even more durable during combat.
*Metal Claw: Nathaniel splits the shield in half, and uses both halves for attacking his opponent.
*Iron Defense: Nathaniel slams the shield into the ground, and it expands for a full 360 degrees defense.
*Metal Sound: Nathaniel splits the shield, and then slams them back together for a ear splitting frequency used to stun his foes.
Bankai: (unachieved) In Bankai Hagane, it turns into a full suit of pure white armor. It is light weight, just like the shield, and tight fitting. It is meant for a "absolute defense" and the armor cannot be scathed in any way
*Seven Silver Spikes: Seven spikes materialize onto the armor, and they "melt" off, and shoot out at an enemy.
*Flash Cannon: The palms on the armor light up, and release an immense amount of heat and light onto the enemy. Any part of the enemy that is hit, is instantly singed and cannot be used unless healed straight away.
*Spire Guard: 3 skyscraper building explode from the ground, protecting the user from any attack. The building cannot be brought down unless attacked repeatedly

Accessories: He has his right ear pierced, and he has a tattoo of the Grim Reaper(as a chibi) on his right abdominal's.
Skills: Nate has the uncanny skill of being able to predict his opponents moves. He gets to know the person while fighting them, by watching the person on how they start the fight. He reads them, and predicts the outcome of the fight.
Abilities: Nate is able to take an immense amount of hits. As he is a defensive type of person, he uses this ability to protect others.
Personality: Nate is usually calm and peaceful. He is the stereotypical stoic hero, although. He doesnt mind having the crap beat out of him, but when his friends or loved ones are threatened he completely loses his cool. He hates being looked down upon, as he knows his own power. There is only one person he has met in his life that he looks up to, and he tries his hardest to get this persons approval all the time.
Biography:
Nathaniel was born in America, but his family moved to japan when he was three. He pretty much grew up by himself, as both of his parents were in the Navy and spent most of their time on base. He was 14 years old when his sister was born. He was given the responsibility to raise her, and look after her by his father. His father also told him to protect her to the best of his ability.
Nathaniel had a decent school life. He had always had A's and C's. Never anything above or below. He was especially gifted in science. He had a close group of friends all throughout his school life. He participated in his schools swim team, as he was one of the tallest kids in his school.
Nathaniel wasnt big on any other sports, but swimming. He was more into learning than anything.
When Nathaniel turned 15, he spent the day with his sister, and had made a cake for them to share. Nicole was the biggest thing in Nathaniels life, and he loved her more than anything. When he put his baby sister to bed, his parnets got home, and he spent the rest of the night with them.
A week after his 15th birthday, Nathaniel was out with his best friend, Ryoku. They spent the day together, and when he walked her home, his death happened.
They were pretty much herded when Nathaniel tried to take a short cut through an thats when a group of men cut them off. Nathaniel tried to fight them off, but ended up being knocked to the ground and was beaten. When he tripped one of the men from getting to Ryoku, the man found a lead pipe, and beat Nathaniel in the head with it. Ryoku got away, but Nathaniel died in the ally way.
Nathaniel woke in Soul Society almost instantly. once he learned what he became, he trained immediatly. He wanted to become strong to protect those around him. He eventually learned of the massive amount of spiritual energy inside of him,and use it to become stronger.
