Sorry for the language, but I'm a bit pissed off, and rightly so.
The story goes like this:
I had been at a friend of mine's house. We'd had a really good time, watched some TV, and I was on my way home. The way I go home takes a shortcut through an alleyway, which is usually safe. However, today, there were three people there, at least two of them from my school, all younger than me. As I was walking past, I noticed they had French Bangers, a kind of small firework that can be bought in France. As I walked past, one of them said "Hey, do you like French Bangers?" I ignored them, and just walked on. Then, I thin the same voice shouted "Well, why don't you have one?" And threw one at me. It hit me just above the hip, scorching my favourite T-shirt and burning me slightly. I just continued home. When I got back, I told my mum, and she went and had a shout at them. She recognised at least one of them, and we phoned the police.
The police have been round, and told me what they're gonna do, but... I'd slightly scared. They could have really hurt me if they had wanted to, and they are at my school. I'm not sure what I'm going to do. But... Let's hope the police can sort it out.

I hate it when kids think that they can do just whatever they feel like doing! They don't think at all for the safety of themselves or for other people and it is very aggravating.
I'm sorry that happened to you, sweetheart. sad *hugs*

Anagove I hate it when kids think that they can do just whatever they feel like doing! They don't think at all for the safety of themselves or for other people and it is very aggravating. I'm sorry that happened to you, sweetheart. sad *hugs* Thanks. Yeah, so do I, and what makes it worse is that French Bangers are actually illegal in the UK. Anyway, I'm not going down that alleyway for a while, and in case they might recognise me, I'm going to go to school with my hair up. I'm scared, I really am.
