.... Stone, surrounding her. That was the first thing she awoke to. Cold, hard stone, encircling her now-living form, encasing her in a barrier, stopping her from moving. How did she become this way? She was dead. She knew that much. Death was always nearby, a constant companion for this woman. She knew it as well as she knew her own self. When it had touched her, she had felt it, and gone willingly. But now, there was this prison that held her, keeping her back from the world of the living. There were sounds around her; that of hard stone cracking and dropping to a solid floor. That would mean, perhaps, that something similar was happening in the same room. The woman's eyes narrowed into slits, and she gave a soft growl. This would not do. Her muscles tensed, then pushed outwards, the metal armor cracking the stone and sending it to the floor, cascading off of her form.
She stepped forward, shaking herself off. Damn, there was even stone inside her armor... that would be a problem, but one to deal with later. For now, the lady general looked around at the group now gathering, and a slight smile touched the corners of her lips. One hand came up to remove her helmet, and her short-cropped blue-silvered hair bounced back to the same position, as azure eyes regarded the occupants of this place coolly. Her gaze slid over Loki and Mika, not recognizing them and therefore labeling them as unimportant, before settling once again on the others of her group.
"I see. So we've been given a second chance," Misura murmured, steeping forward to join with the others. "Magic..." She shivered slightly. She was alive, but it must have been done through magic. How distasteful. And... why were they here? The gods must have changed their minds... though Misura couldn't imagine why. But she had something back that she had missed, now, so she wasn't complaining. Ignoring the others for now, the woman stepped to Jyoti and removed the armored gauntlets, then reached out and gently ruffled the girl's hair. This was someone she'd missed...

Loki turned to smile at the assembled heroes as each of them awoke. "Ah... there we are," he said, mostly to himself, as he sat down on Rei's shoulder. It was uncomfortable, and he stood up, brushing off the petrified druid's shoulder.
"Ah... the Ancient Heroes. I thought you might enjoy some time out in the sun, all of you. I hear," he added, "That there is a festival in Eyris right now. Perhaps you would like to attend."
He waved one hand dismissively, and the heroes disappeared from sight, sent instantly to Eyris-- their old stomping grounds.
"Don't worry," he said to Mika, who remained alone with the chaotic god. "They'll fight on your behalf when the time comes. I still have much to teach you. And... Margarette... I have something for you as well," he said to the air, waiting for Mika's grandmother to reveal herself.

The figure appeared silently behind her stunned and tearful granddaughter, putting a hand on her shoulder and coming around her to face Loki. "I thought you'd never call, Master. Everything went well, I assume?" She asked with a mischievous smile. She glanced down at Mika with a disapproving look.
"Oh don't worry, dear. That leech, Synra, got what she deserved. You're certainly much safer now." She said.

Loki smiled, approaching the animated doll. "Yes, everything went swimmingly, Margarette. Come here... you have earned a reward for all your hard work lately."
The Dark God raised his hand and drew Margarette's doll body into the air toward him, then turned his hand palm up and grasped something in the air just above his hand with the other thumb and forefinger. He pulled something away, then caste his palm out and let the doll body drop to the floor, where it broke at the joints. "Your temporary body was growing weak from use... Let me see if I can't whip up something more permanent." He brought his hands together, meeting his fingertips together and then pulled his palms apart.
Space seemed to fold in on itself in the air where the doll had been moments ago, wrapping around Margarette's suspended soul. It warped and twisted as matter poured into the pocket of space, and then Loki parted his fingers.
The nude woman who appeared as space snapped back to normality was... beautiful. Perfect skin, perfect body, the ideal combination of softness and sharpness in the face, and bright, gleaming red eyes framed by flowing locks of purest white. He smiled as she floated down to him, holding her gently and kissing her cheek. "Better, is it?" He stepped back, regarding her thoughtfully, and waved, cycling her through twenty or so outfits before settling one one he liked.
"... Yes... Yes," he said, letting his eyes rove up her exposed legs, taking in the level of exposure her new outfit afforded. "Yes, I think this will do nicely. Don't you, Margarette?"

Margarette felt very comfortable in Loki's arms. She looked up at him with her new, red, beautiful eyes. As he released her, she stood, somewhat shakily on her new, thin legs. "Master... I didn't know you could--" She put her hand over her own mouth, startled by her new, fair voice, but then removed it. "My voice too? Wow..." She looked back over to her grandaughter, who stood in awe. It must be too much for Mika. Margarette leaned down and picked up her staff, somewhat easier to carry now that her back didn't ache.
"Thank you, Master. I don't know what to say except... Do you have a mirror?"

Mika had simply been quiet through everything. Though tears streamed down her face from what she had seen with Synra, They had dried now. Now that she was staring at her grandmother's new body. An entire body? It was like he wrapped her new body around her soul! Like all the body was was a new casing. How can he make a human being? Granny obviously wasn't a morph. Morphs were different. Very different. Mika shook her head. And she had called him "Master". Before, Loki was supposedly a friend. What's going on? Who's lying here? And now Rei is just a statue...

The Prince of Chaos snapped his fingers, and water mist in the air from the many waterfalls in the chamber came quickly together and swirled, forming into a beautiful hand mirror, white ivory with gold trim, in front of Margarette.
Loki was no fool; he was perceptive, and he knew doubt when he saw it. He sighed, shaking his head as he approached Mika. "Mika... I see you are distressed, yes? Perhaps it is time I came clean with you. I am not a mere man seeking justice, as I feel you have been led to believe." He smiled, placing his hands on her shoulders and looking deeply into the Arch-Druidess' eyes.
"I am the reigning god of the continent. Your grandmother is my personal aide and servant. These people... they wish to destroy me, to make this world godless... Your sister was helping me as well. Mika, trust me that they must be stopped. I will give you power, enough to bring an army of your own against them. Mika, I cannot bring my might against them directly-- there are rules we gods must follow. But you, Mika..."
He smiled.
"I want you to be my avatar."

As Margarette admired her new self in the pretty mirror Loki provided, Mika was staring into the eyes of Loki, instead. She tried to process everything he was telling her, but after the beating her mind had just taken, it was extremely tough.
"If you're a god, and you want me to help you... And you weren't honest with me to begin with, then can I believe everything else you've told me? Did the people of Eyris kill my sister, and Granny?"

Loki sighed and placed his hands on her shoulders. "You're right. You can't blindly trust what I tell you." He closed his eyes for a moment as blackness spread out around them.
"Let me show you."
The blackness closed around them, and they disappeared.
